If I could give it Zero stars I would.

If I could give it Zero stars I would. I accidentally signed up for membership. I wanted to try tolearn Photoshop and I stupidly didn't read the small print about signing up for a contract of one year at a minimum. Obviously I was annoyed about this as I meant I'd either have to pay a cancellation fee of over £100 or stick with it, but as I knew it was my own fault I accepted it and carried on with the membership. I didn't learn how to use it and other than occasionally noticing the bank transaction coming out and getting mildly irritated about it again, I kind of forgot all about it. Until one day I realised my years membership must be up. Brilliant, I thought, logging into my Adobe account. I was literally one day past the day I'd signed up last year. A perfect time to cancel... or so I thought. But no it wasn't. My membership had automatically renewed, there was no way of cancelling without again having a fee of over £100. I spoke to customer services and apparently I'll have to wait a whole year to cancel it again. They tried to defend themselves by saying they'd sent me emails to remind me. They sent me one, which was lost amongst the vast sea of other advertising emails I get from them. Also, having since read the email, it gives no warning about the automatic renewal being impossible to cancel once they’ve actioned it. I accepted the one year penalty, but for there to be no way to cancel after this is ridiculous. No other company I've used does this. I've signed up to gym memberships and phone contracts that are less of a commitment! Seriously sort it out Adobe! You make great products, why ruin your reputation by having such an awful subscription service? Once I get out of this never-ending membership I will never be using one of your products again.

They try to continue to sell their products despite telling them you don't want them

Reviewed on 2021-04-06T20:56:30

I got the free trial for after effects and premier pro, when running the programs for the first time the program told me that it won't run well on my computer. After I struggled through what I was trying to edit, I tried to cancel my subscription by myself. It said I had successfully cancelled my subscription. Today I received an email saying that I should download the apps that I had paid for (I got the free trial and tried to delete my subscription, I shouldn't have been charged). I contacted customer service and asked them to cancel my subscription. They asked why, I told them it was too expensive and my dumpster-fire of a laptop couldn't run it super well. They proceeded to try to sell me more of the products I was unable to run or afford despite me telling them the reasons why I wanted to cancel. This was a frustrating process which made me feel like I wasn't being heard or that my problems did not matter to the company, all they wanted was my money. I asked them multiple times to stop trying to sell me things, but they persisted. I understand that the CS agents have numbers they need to meet, but this was absurd and felt rather rude. I have used adobe products in the past and have found them quite useful, but their customer service needs a lot of work.

Trash company with trash products

Trash company with trash products. I’m so confused how a company can have the same product for 30 years and it still sucks as bad as it does.I hope this company fails and is replaced with a much better company.

I’ve been using Adobe premiere for work projects a while now and having previously used final cut,I can assertively say that Adobe is much easier to use and create videos. The features are easily located and well planned out. 10/10.

Id rather give a 0 star, since I have been talking for over an hour and not got my problem fixed. The reduction in price of my CC photography plan is not big enough to have included apps not working at all.
