My experience over the past 10 years

Reviewed on 2019-06-18T20:43:05

My experience over the past 10 years I recently had a problem with my 1password. Tech support wasprompt in replying and solved the issue (24 hrs). As for the previous comments re: the upgrade from 1password 6 to 7, I too was caught off-guard that it was going to a paid version. However, after contacting tech support, they immediately sent me a link to version 6 and I was back in business as usual in less than 2 hours. The person saying thatAgilebits would not send them version 6 had a different experience than I did. Since then, I have reviewed the pros and cons of version 6 vs 7 and have paid for the upgrade. I have been using 1password for probably over 10 years. I have never been disapointed with the team over there. It is a great product, syncing over two computers an iPhone and iwatch, and is better than ever.

AgileBits 1Password is horrible

AgileBits 1Password is horrible. Their support is beyond bad. They do not have records of your purchases and you will waste untold hours on this system. After you buy something from them, they drop it and try to force you to something more expensive.

I have tried for over two weeks to get ahold of somebody at AgileBits for help with 1Password for Mac and iOS!Crickets! No reply to email, no ability to contact anyone via phone for support, their online FAQs do not answer my question, etc! We use 1P for all our computers and devices, and 1P has stopped working, and the company is absolutely impossible to get a hold of! We have so many passwords, that it is impossible to remember them all, and have no way to use them now! We are unable to log into very, very important websites! We will be looking for another password manager. Agile Bits' customer support is absolutely worthless!

No one will help

Reviewed on 2016-05-04T11:22:42

Please work on your support. When s** hits the fan and you need to use passwords (5-10 times per day)it would be nice to have them. This system is not for common people - you would have to be a tech developer to use 1Password.

Decent company with average support.

Reviewed on 2015-07-06T18:42:43.235

Great product with great friendly and knowledgable support; happily pay for upgrades and no hard sell. Edit: Felt the need to update this as a customer from 'the beginning'or thereabouts, I recently decided to cancel my subscription and move elsewhere. I moved primarily due to the change to subscription and the lack of Linux support. The rub for me was that I have never been contacted by support, asking why I was leaving and all that usual customer support thing. I clearly was not that valued a customer and they haven't missed me at all. Oh dear, I guess nor have I, but I've reduced the review to 3/5 as after all these paying years, I felt I might have been asked why I was leaving. I guess the bigger they got the less personal they became.
