SOOO, where should I begin... We have purchased the furniture from Ashley on the 20th of February,we paid in full, the representative and the manager of the Manassas location were super nice and helpful while of course trying to make a sale. We have found what we wanted and it's a California king bed and we were upsold on the mattress because the deal that the manager had offered to us was pretty good, we also purchased a dresser to match the bed, total package around $2500. When we were communicating with the sales rep and the manager, we explained our situation that we were currently using our guestroom to sleep, and we came to Ashley to specifically purchase a bed and needed the bed to be delivered asap. They assured us that we will be receiving the bed on time by the 25th of march. In March, the store customer service rep called us and said that there is going to be a delay because the bed is custom ( California King) and they don't have it in the stores and it's the pandemic and some other stories that they have to tell you when the order is delayed. Now the bed was supposed to be delivered on April 19th. April comes- another phone call-sorry the delivery is now in June. Are you kidding me? That is over any promises that the store employees have originally made and it's over 18 weeks for delivery and it's 4 and 1/2 months until the bed can be delivered now. I was vivid and I told my spouse let's go to the store and find out what they have available for delivery now and we will cancel our order and will just purchase what they can deliver this week or next. Another sales rep was running around the store, the same manager was there. The new sales rep said to us- of course, we can find something for you to be delivered by the end of next week. We settled on the bed and found a mattress and were willing to pay a little extra, explaining that my mom is coming to visit in June, and we will not have anywhere to sleep because she will be in our guestroom, so we need this bed yesterday. Finally, the sales rep goes back to the manager to run the numbers on a couple of options and the manager said that the mattress is the problem and it will be delivered the third week of June, the same time our original order was supposed to be re-re-delivered. We said, you know what, we already have ordered through you and the order is paid in full and we wanted to cancel it and get something else instead but sooner. The only thing that we were waiting on per the phone call from the customer service was the rails for the bed. We were very upset, and at that point we told them that we will cancel and go to Haverty’s Furniture or Belfort Furniture instead. The next day (the news traveled fast) we get an email saying that we will partially deliver your order this week. Ok, first good news from Ashley, my spouse took a day off, they said we will not deliver your dresser as it didn't pass our inspection and will be delayed again but we can deliver the bed parts with the mattress without the rails. The delivery crew comes in to drop what was available and the footboard breaks and is chipped, and then the rest of the wood was cracked and was coming off -delivery crew called the store they said they have to take it back and order another piece. What we have right now (as of yesterday) are the headboard and the mattress. Wow! So unprofessional and all lies, don't believe anything they tell you or promise to you-they are "cliché salespeople" and just want to make a sale using whatever lies they can come up with. The very disappointing, unprofessional, and not untrustworthy approach to do business by Ashley.

It is bad business to send an email with a delivery confirmation date and time and then turn around and say sorry that email was a system glitch and your furniture is on back order until July.I done got rid of all my furniture in preparation for the delivery date for which I was given as of today. I do plan on filing a BBB complaint as I do have written documentation of the confirmation of delivery. To me that is a legal binding agreement. Im pretty sure the CEO Todd Wanek would be pretty upset under the same circumstances if his children was expected to sit on the floor for 2 months because of a "system glitch". To say I am upset is putting it mildly. To anyone looking to purchase furniture I would highly recommend staying away from Ashley Furniture as they provide false information and do not back up their own system/delivery. Poor business if you ask me.

Horrid customer service, was originally told 4-8 weeks for delivery of very expensive couch.After 8 weeks we were told 12 weeks, 17+ weeks later we finally had it delivered. During that time no one could give us any information or an update so we had no idea what was going on. Will never shop there again and I suggest no one else does either.

It too bad the rating system makes you give them any stars at all. The company is a joke.Once they have your money you mean nothing to them. Customer service will tell you anything to get you off the phone and it’s either a lie of just incompetence. Got a mattress delivered with a nice 18 inch stain in the middle of it. Called on Monday and was told they would order a new one and we would be given “priority” on the replacement. Checked back 3 weeks later and was told it wasn’t even ordered till 2 weeks after they said it had been. Finally get it delivered and the truck is suppose to be there between 8:30-11:00. I’m on my way home from work and my wife calls and says they’re already there (at 7:45am.) I said I’d be there in 10 minutes and not to deliver until I got there. The driver calls back and said Ashley told him to leave. He came back on his own because as I was leaving to head back to work, he pulled onto my street. They were the only people in the entire process with any professionalism. Of course I found out they don’t actually work for Ashley. Buy from anywhere but here. Go to other review sites, it’s the same thing over and over.

Most horrific experience I have ever had with buying furniture. After purchasing a $2000 couch and having it delivered it turns out the salesman (who has been let go)ordered the wrong configuration. I have spent over 10 hours trying to get it resolved. Finally drove 1 hour to the Pat Booker store last night after work to be met with a little snit of a girl at the front desk who could care a less. After another 45 minutes in the store she tells me there is nothing they can do in the store that she has to put a request in to corporate to see what my options are. Ummmm.....I spoke to corporate many times last week and they told me the only way to resolve is to go into the store. I have never ever been run around so much in all my life. We were military for 24 years and have moved 14 times. Each time you need a new piece of furniture for one room or another. I have worked with many different furniture companies and have never once been treat like this.

I've never purchased anything from Ashley Furniture.... and I never will. Went by the local storethis past week and after agreeing on a price we were told that the furniture would be delivered to our home. OK, sounds good. We were then given the choice of door delivery (left on the porch or in the garage) or for $100 more we can have 'white glove' delivery where the furniture will be brought inside and assembled. If there is any issue with the furniture (broken, etc) the 'white glove' people will return it and deliver another one. However, if we do not choose the 'white glove' delivery and there is an issue with the furniture, then WE would have to return the furniture to the warehouse which is over ONE HUNDRED MILES away. This is extortion plain and simple.

I ordered furniture from Ashley in NJ was told it would be 6-8 weeks to take delivery.It has been 17 weeks and still no idea when furniture will be produced or delivered . I waited 11 weeks before I called to check on status and was told 2 weeks. The last call I made was at the end of April and was told I would have by Mid May still no sign of furniture. Hopefully we can have before my son Graduates at the end of June

I will never order from then again. Sales lady was pushy then she couldnt tell us the true price of our furniture.Finally after we bought the items 2 months go by before I even get a call. I had to keep calling them for an update. Then I was told by one person on a Tuesdayall orders are in to come get. Made arrangements to get it on a Saturday. I recieved 3 more call before that Saturday. Really... Then on Saturday I went to go pick it up and they told me the wrong times. I was mad called them and complained. Then two hours later they called me to come pick it up. I went off on the lady saying I was just there and the whole place is locked up. Dont call me to come get it if you are not even open. Then on Monday got ANOTHER call saying my last piece arrived. Um excuse me I was told it was last Tuesday thats why I have been getting all these calls to come pick it up. I would of been even more mad getting on Saturday to then realize all of my order was actually there. Then next Saturday I went to go get the items and customer service lady said they were getting ready to close at noon. What the heck you sign says 2pm. Finally got my stuff home after all that bull crap.
