Was with AT&T for over a decade and finally left… But can’t seem to get rid of them or their ineptness.Trying to call about a final bill that I don’t believe I actually owe 1st call: kind young lady that I could only understand about 60% of what she was saying. Went in circles for about 15 minutes she was no help and said she would connect me to billing 2) she actually connected me to DIRECTV and Internet. Went around in circles with that gentleman who was equally kind but who I could equally not understand very well then 10 minutes later he is supposedly connecting me to the right person 3) this person spoke very clear English however we to went around in circles and he could not find my account telling me that apparently it was under a unified account and he would need to transfer me to get a third department. 4) after being on hold for a few minutes suddenly everything goes silent and I was disconnected. 5) call back and go through the annoying voice prompts and decide I’ve had enough so they can just call me if they would like to receive their $80. I’ve wasted an hour of my life and have accomplished nothing. I hate this company and would never go back

The business sales department is the worst I have ever been in volved. I have been waiting over 3 weeks for the sales girl to contact me,I finally received her contact information. I contacted her and have been waiting 3 days and counting I called her manager and have yet to hear from him too! I have been in sales for 50 years, never have I been lied to so many times from this sales department. I should list their names.

Consider boycotting AT&T : Restricting voting rights

The associated press article today regarding companies giving to support voting restrictions: "AT&T was the most prolific giver,donating over $800,000 since 2015 to authors of proposed restrictions, co-sponsors of such measures, or those who voted in favor of the bills, a new report by the Washington-based non-profit Public Citizen found." Also as an AT&T shareholder I would vote for a resolution restricting AT&T from further supporting restricted voting rights.

Zero Customer Service

Some 2.5 years ago, and I have had nothing but inept, incompetent, nonexistent customer service on my bundled service since.Ex: AT&T is incapable of combining my cell and iPad bill with the direct payment that I have with tv and internet. They forced me to pay by check while they “were working on it.” Told this week it could not be done. Meanwhile the check I sent in on Feb. 24 was not credited to my account, and they sent numerous messages, emails and a snail mail dunning me for payment—although my checking acct statement shows it was cashed on time by them. Meanwhile I sent in another payment for it, which they have not credited to me. The most important obstacle to decent customer service is that the talk AT you with emails and messages to which you cannot reply. Who does customer noservice anymore over the phone only? I could have clearly explained the problem with documentation in an email. The suits authorize customer service reps to sympathize and apologize only. Don’t waste your breath calling—they can’t fix anything and you are on long holds listening to annoying scripts telling you how wonderful they are. Do not believe it. My rating is ZERO.

If you’re thinking about switching to ATT I would not recommend it. I switched from Verizon and that was a big mistake.I have had nothing but trouble with my billing since I switched they are charging more than what I was quoted if I could I would dump ATT in a heartbeat DON’T SWITCH
