Ollie has been extremely helpful with helping me decide on the booking system. He’s very patient and really went into detail about it all which helped a lot.He understood the situation I’m in so he was there to sympathise also. I would 100% recommend speaking to him if you have the chance.

Glitchy and hard to get help

I’m quite astonished to see all the glowing reviews on here and have to conclude that some fake reviews are getting through.Since we signed up last year it’s been one technical glitch after another. This can’t have just affected us as they were systemic software issues. For months internet bookings didn’t work properly with iPhones for instance. The customer service is appalling. We’d been assured before signing up that there was a technical support helpline, but I’ve never once managed to get through to anyone on it. If you need help at the weekend, forget about it. This is crazy in an industry which is at its busiest at the weekend. Booksy want you to contact them through a chat service. But it takes hours or days sometimes to get a reply and for the last couple of months the chat service hasn’t been working at all for us. The developers seem to have put all their effort into producing a fantastic customer app and hats off to them for that. But not all customers want to download an app and Booksy specifically advertise that you can put a button on your website, Instagram, Google etc. We have found these to be very problematic. Booking through Google isn’t possible at all if you have a cancellation policy, but they don’t tell you that in advance. It’s a very good looking system and promises a lot, but struggles to deliver.

The best business decision i could of made signing up to Booksy. The entire process has made life so much easier.Such an easy way for my clients to book. I get new clients through using the app. Kate made the whole process so easy and accessible. Could not recommend Booksy enough.

Charging through lockdown, refusing to refund when it’s illegal to make bookings and it’s a booking system!

AVOID! Gone down the pan! Terrible customer services! Charging me throughout the recent lockdown and then won’t refund however they did before in the first lockdown with no problem.Told me did no one tell you, You have to tell them month by month that we’re in lockdown and can’t work haha! If I had then I’d have had a penny contract on them months that I can’t work. But because I didn’t I’ve been charged with no refund. Bare in mind I’m paying for a booking system which would be illegal to book people in when In lockdown! So why should I pay for that? But if i had known I wouldn’t have had to, So why no refund if i wouldn’t have had to pay for it in the first place if I’d have contacted booksy to let them know we’re in lockdown. What a joke. As a good will they said they will do the penny contract for the next 3 months. I said I should get that anyway because we will be in lockdown and here I am telling you so that isn’t a good will it’s what you should be doing! So I want my refund. It’s no different to paying for a gym membership when the gym is closed haha! So asked for the managers number and she said there isn’t a direct number annoyingly as this would be so much easier.. Sent an email to say what my consumer rights are, got an email back to say did I know they’re raising the prices now apparently so what I’ve paid is actually cheaper which had nothing to do with it. The woman was very argumentive called Rae like it was her personal vendetta to not refund me saying I can sell vouchers on the app. The app is not a voucher app it’s a booking app. Which we can book elope in because it’s illegal. I’m not moving to fresha as it’s free and they charge you a small amount of you take payments through the app.
