I personally think cargurus is a site that is only out to make money.
I contacted them regarding aseller who is selling cars unfit for purpose and being investigated by trading standards yet they continue to let them advertise on their website.
Also when I posted a review sending me an email stating that the star rating did not match my review and to change it!!
No thats not how reviews work
Very poor company and I definitely do not trust themread more

Sold my parents a category N vehicle without disclosing it. When my parents went to sell the vehicle on they found out. They then contacted the dealer who said he would sort it out for them, little did they know, that meant string them along whilst they arrange legal council.
The person admitted on the phone he had no idea it was a category N, saying he was annoyed that he was sold a category N vehicle by someone he trusted. But after talking to head office has completely changed his tune. Apparently it was disclosed on Auto Trader, but they bought it off the forecourt, the never even went on Auto Trader, but apparently that's their fault.
Car Gurus are also impossible to contact, you email them, but they do not reply. What kind of company doesn't have a phone number.... A shady one who cons people.read more

I'll give it 4 starts because it has more cars what I am looking for than auto trader. But for my next car whenever that is I maybe tempted to leave Car Gurus out of my 'search tools' simply because the app on my iPhone and their website never stays logged in. This seems like basic stuff in this day and age.
Good overall though, they even have WhatsApp integration for asking questions about cars and Car Gurus staff will even message me back which is more than you get than auto trader and Ebay.
I am sure car gurus are behind the scenes trying to improve too... lots of potentialread more
