Simply put, nothing about this company is honest or transparent. They'll report inaccurate balances to the creditors,continuously call all hours of the day and night, harrass you when you do speak to someone, and the list of FDCPA violations go on and on...

I had the card for a week and they cut my statement it was actually four days after I got the card andreported to my credit causing it to drop 60 points I do not mind the fees but I didn’t even have a chance to use the card or have a warning on my statement date nothing before the cut the statement and caused my score to drop

I wanted to raise my credit score after filing Bankruptcy so I took Credit Karmas advice and was approved.I understand of annual fees and didn't care due to reason listed for getting the card. Was charged for the full year. No problem. After several months I applied again for another card and was approved. I've never missed a payment or have been late. I've had both my cards since 2016. I've only had to speak to customer service at most 3 times. Today I had to speak with someone because I wanted to find out why I couldn't make a payment. Come to find out I had reached my limit of 4 payments in a month. None of my other cards have limits. Unless I mail a payment to pay off balance I can't make another payment until 4 days until my next due date. So either way I'll have to now pay interest. The other issue is if you want a limit increase you have to pay a fee. This should be done automatically like all other companies. I also believe after a certain time frame and a good standing account they should lower the intrest rate and/or eliminate the yearly fee. Yes I could get other cards, which your credit takes a hit, and close these out but to eliminate older reported cards hurts your credit score even more. So I'm stuck with them for now. If it wasn't for the fees I would have given 5 stars.

Predatory slimy credit card company. Slips in annual fee, doesn't notify you they charged one and then charges you late fees on top of it.Once a year like clockwork when their renewal hits I take a ding in my credit score. I am canceling my card soon as I can. Stay far away from this credit card company. If you like 25 hyper aggressive guys with an Indian accent calling you nonstop the day after your credit card payment is due but not before it... and actually enjoy being hounded for 40 bucks you didn't even knew you owed, use this card. If you want a soulless money sucking vampire with the moral scruples of a 42nd street professional assisting you in repairing your credit... use this card. If you want to literally face punch yourself once a year for owning this piece of garbage credit card when your credit score drops... by all means use this card. Or read my review and save yourself the frustration and prayers of being added to a class action lawsuit. If anyone from Credit One reads this just know that you work for literally the worst credit card company on the planet. Get a different job. I don't know how you sleep at night.

This card company should not be in business. The rep's are all from India, so you can't understand any of them.The bad part is, they don't understand you. My wife called them yesterday because the new card which she applied for never arrived. She inquired and they consistently told her that only the authorized user could call and inquire. She tried to tell them over and over that she WAS the authorized user. The first rep didn't believer her. So, she got transferred to a 2nd rep. The first rep tole the 2nd rep that this was not the authorized user when in fact she was. After 10 minutes of hassell with the 2nd rep she was transferred to a 3rd rep. The 2nd rep told the 3rd rep the same thing. She tried to tell them that she WAS the authorized person who the account was under. The 3rd person didn't believer her. Keep in mind, this call was on a speaker phone and I heard every word that these people were telling her. So, today, when I check online to see if they had sent out the replacement cards, which she never got the new cards, I see that they cancelled and removed her account from the system. Seriously? I personally have 2 cards with this company and will be closing them out today. I am contacting the NYS dept of Banking today to lodge a formal complaint with this company Stay away from this company. Their customer service is the worst of any company I have seen. If anyone would like further information, please let me know and I will be happy to provide any info so that no one else gets treated like this.

So my card payment is for the 16th of February so I pay on the phone on the 5th they have my emailthey have my phone number they have my address and then they turned around on the 17th and they say they have to return my payment mine you they send me an email I'm on vacation so they made my week off hell I spoke to a so-called supervisor on the 18th and explain the situation that I was not late that they had returned the payment because the person that took the payment over the phone did not read the information back or they put it wrong so long story short they say that I was late wish I was not I have two cards with that my Visa and MasterCard this was on my MasterCard so they charge me $27 for late fee LOL right on the next day tru email they send me the information the person that took the information gave me a confirmation number so I was believing that the payment went through like all the other times normally I mailed this card because they charge $9.95 which is absurd I'm in the middle of making out a report with better business bureau because they told me 48 hours my money will be back in the cart and loaded with confirmation numbers and finally on the 19th payment went through I called my bank and they say no there's nothing wrong it's the same numbers and they have the information from before credit one that there shouldn't be a problem that it's obvious someone wrote the wrong number so on their mistake I'm trying to build up my credit score and they keep trying to mess it up the last time last year I sent two money orders to the mail they put my Mastercard money keep in mind this is another number another card number and my Visa which is another number that payment and the Visa payment on the MasterCard it's obvious they don't know what the heck they're doing they keep messing people's credit score like that I'm just about had it I'm going back to New York City on Monday and it's going to be filed i credit one better business bureau another thing when you try calling their customer service you can understand a word they say so now I am short $27 I have a late supposedly payment which in years of mean my payment is standards is of a good standards and you keep messing it up credit one trying to mess up my credit if you take a look at my record my record is immaculate with payment credit one you got to do better by people as I speak I'm very upset and I will file with better business bureau I just about had it thank you

Worst company ever. Had to lodge a BBB complaint with them to get my card it took 6 weeks!I talked to 5 reps and a supervisor who reassured me that they corrected my address. They offered no assistance during the pandemic. Some have monthly fees.. Save yourself a headache and apply at capital one. Much better company and customer service.
