Dashlane WAS safe, until they changed to a web based application. why am I saying that? after all,I was a serious proponent of the app. read on.
When i closed the desktop app, it stayed closed and I felt secure. not so with the web based.
I make it a habit to log out of all sensitive sites when I am done with them. and, when I was finished with Dashlane I LOGGED out, or so i thought. The next morning, on my waking my Mac i found the web based app logged in and in testing it, ALL the passwords accessible to copying.
Now? now I am searching and contemplating a replacement to Dashlane.
In reading Dashlane reply to my comment, i find that management has not read my review or taken it seriously.
Again. Dashlane web based did not require my master password to be accessible and all my passwords were vulnerable. and that, after i supposedly "logged Off"read more

I wanted to migrate my subscription to a new account.
As this was not possible directly I was provided with a refund and a extended trial period,so I could setup my new account and get my subscription newly up and running.read more
Subdomain credential issue is easily resolved

The product wasn't functioning as expected for a particular use case (sites with multiple subdomains having different credentials).The consultant who assisted referred to a credential-specific feature in DashLane that solves the problem and works really well (the "Autofill only on exact URL" setting).
All in all, I am happy with this experience.read more

I quickly realised this service wasn't for me after they couldn't autofill in the android browser,however things took a turn for the worst when I requested a refund under my 30 day refund window, they refuse the request, and deleted my account. Then I sent a message to support to request it, it has taken them over a month to respond to say that my account doesn't exist (no sh.. sherlock) so they can't process my request. Absolutely incompetent and useless service with a sup par app and horribly slow service.read more

My phone had crashed and Dashlane kept closing. I really needed it and after uninstalling and reinstallingdid not work I got in touch with support and they were really great and finally with their help I was able to get back up and running.read more
