Great auction website.
I've bought a lot of items from ebay.de and it worked smooth every time.

If I could give a zero I would. What a ridiculous site and such a bad image to eBay. I have used the UK,Irish and USA ones and never had issues with buying/bidding items but this one just seems like a scam and you have nowhere to complain which is weird. The only thing I did was make bids and ask sellers if they post to Ireland! I even won an item and it was sent with no issues. My account has been permanently banned because I put the community as risk! Lol what a load of bs...Can't even ask what they mean by putting at risk of what? Making bids? Never felt so unwelcome at a company.read more

Your money is not safe with this company. And it is a little scam going on between eBay and PayPal,so don't expect ANY help from PayPal either. You cannot even open an issue in PayPal; it tells you to go to eBay.
Ordered a product and paid for it. Somehow, a completely wrong luckily nonexistent address what put on the order. I have so far failed to update the address and only told to wait, wait and wait.
Thx eBay, never again.

I ordered a complete set of Brake parts from Profiteile24 on German Ebay for a Mitsubishi Pajero The sreal ID is Wilhelm Fürst
Waldenreuter Straße 20,
94157,Perlesreut
The seller sent me an incomplete set of BMW parts instead of the parts that I had ordered and then claimed that they were correct parts which is clearly not true. I sent the parts back but the seller has not refunded my money. The Ebay screen says that you can escalate the matter to them but the escalation button has disapeared! Wat a surprise.
It is clear that EBay are now actively turning a blind eye when scammers are using their portal. I will be setting the lawyers on Mr Fuerst. There is however an important lesson to be learnt. DO NOT BUY ON EBAY!!!read more
I returned a fake antique to a seller…
Reviewed on 2021-02-09T07:15:19
I returned a fake antique to a seller in Germany. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 excuse,Germany shut their border to the UK on 23 December and from that date until 7 Jan, Parcelforce were unable to collect or post the package and it was stuck at the UK post office for a few weeks. The fake antique finally arrived back with the seller on 25 Jan, one day before the 26th deadline which eBay Germany imposed. eBay Germany closed the case on 26th Jan stating the item did not arrive back within their deadline, which is an untruth because it arrived back on 25th Jan as per tracking, which they had access to. And being aware the border was shut all that time should have automatically meant there was no deadline imposed. Who imposes a deadline when there's closed borders - completely out of the average person's control? And they were kept well informed by me every single week.
The conclusion?
The seller has emailed me to say they are happy to send the fake antique back to me at my full expense but they will not refund me because in their words 'eBay closed the case so they don't have to refund me'. Is that just primitive reasoning or is it criminal?
eBay Germany have said they will not honour their Buyer Protection Agreement because the fake arrived one day late (it didn't, it arrived on time and there should have been no time limit due to above mentioned closed borders), despite knowing both the fake antique and cash are with the seller. Really, you couldn't make it up.
I won't be making any further purchases from eBay Germany which is such a shame for other sellers. But we must always look at businesses from a reasonable angle and decide whether to make purchases based on how a business handles its 'problems' e.g fraud and theft. The contempt they have shown me through their communications, does lead me to wonder whether it is a racist issue rather than simply an issue with German to English translation.
The simple answer is to accept they are all complicit in a large sum of money being stolen from me and let them fall through their own dishonest behaviour, as these types will do. I expect the other negative reviews on here regarding their ethics will be a put off for many buyers.read more
eBay Service not very helpful

Ebay allow to buy "return labels" without tracking number. If the seller decides to say "I did not get the item" that's it,you don't get the money back because according to "Ebay-Service" the "responsibility for giving back the item lies on the buyer"... And you cannot prove you sent it back, because there is no tracking number. Then, why did you let your customers to buy "return labels without tracking number" in the first place??!!read more
