I bought a ticket for a drive in movie for my friends birthday, I received a reminder the day before from Eventbrite and when I arrived at the venue,I was told that the event had been cancelled the month before. I applied for a refund and was told that the event had not been cancelled and they will not refund me. Thieves! Do not book via this website. I am now trying to get the venue involved. It should not be this difficult!! No customer service.read more

The National Trust use Eventbrite for people to book visits to their properties. I became aware of this service when the pandemic hit last year, and the only way to make use of my membership was to book a slot for outside visits.
The issue I have is that I cannot now unsubscribe to their emails. I have clicked several times on the "unsuscribe" link, and each time it says 'successful' but then, a few weeks on, and another email comes in my inbox. I did finally manage to contact their support team (mind you, that isn't easy) and their response was to send a load of screengrabs on how to navigate through my account settings etc.
The point here is that I am not a techno expert and simply expect the unsuscribe link to work, or for them to resolve the issue remotely.
Please think before you sign up to receive information from this company.
And by the way; shame on the National Trust for wasting charity money on using this company and their services. Must be costing a fortune!read more

Eventbrite have refused to give me a refund for a re scheduled event which I can not attend. They state it has not been cancelled. I disagree, the event I bought tickets for has been cancelled and re booked for another date. I can't get in touch with the organiser direct and stand to loose £130. I have had refunds off every other ticket vendor.read more

This is yet another of those (usually) London-based companies that seem to get off on dragging customers around in circles on their stupid website!Try and find an email for customer service....You won't! Try and contact them through the 'Contact us' option on the site.....You won't be able to. Try and get to speak to someone at customer service through the phone number they supply....You won't! Try and change your tickets, following the instructions, by clicking 'Edit'....There isn't an Edit' to click! Try and add someone to the event (an allotment AGM, which is free, by the way)....You won't be able to! All-in-all I'm not surprised that these w.....s have such a bad rating. Is there not a watchdog to reign in cretins like this? Abyssmal!read more

Our small meeting group used Eventbrite during the pandemic whilst our meetings were held on zoom. The amount of stress caused is incalculable- finally, they have changed the integration with zoom which now means it’s impossible to connect when using an iPad. That has caused us to be unable to link to zoom so we are now looking for another online ticket sales provider. Ticket tailor has good reviews.read more
