Buyer beware! I have purchased over 11 trees from them and most have not done well.I have 30 years experience in landscaping and they deliver poor quality trees. Also, when I called a customer service representative to complain about a tree that was marked “Deer resistant” I informed her that the very night I planted the tree it was consumed down to the nub by deer. She had the nerve to tell me that “Deer resistant “ doesn’t mean deer proof! I suggest that they don’t put any label on it since it seemed like a deer’s favorite snack. All I heard was crickets for she didn’t say sorry or anything else. Then to add insult to injury they didn’t refund the full amount! They have beautiful pictures of trees but buyer beware!read more
Do NOT ever buy from these people they…

Do NOT ever buy from these people they are falsely advertising the size of their products as well as preventing real reviews from being posted. The one gallon plants are really 2 quart and three gallon are less than one and a half gallon. They overcharge for shipping and the first trees I bought were Cavendish banana trees that arrived nearly dead with black spots on torn fronds.
The second order which I made before the first was delivered (which I now know was a mistake) was in slightly better condition with no dead spots on the leaves but the fronds had been folded into the lid of the cardboard shipping box and stapled into the lid.
I only received a 10% "discount" on the first shipment for the nearly dead and damaged plants and nothing on the second. When I tried to post honest reviews instead of the fake "verified buyer" reviews on the site even (or perhaps especially because) pictures of the plants taken as received next to standard size nursery pots of the size of plants were supposed to have been were not put up.read more
False advertising on their website!

I ordered trees from fastgrowingtrees.com based on the description and photographs on their website. The trees were supposed to be 12-24' tall and reasonably thick and bushy for a small tree. They arrived, unannounced, in a box and were 8-10' tall and "twig" like...not kidding...they were twigs. I didn't want my money back, i just wanted the product i ordered and that they continue to advertise on their site. They refused. Instead they just wanted to offer me some small discount for these twigs I can't use. It's as close to "Bait and Switch" marketing as you can get.
I will tell everyone I know not to buy from them. They don't stand behind their products. Home depot had the product i wanted for LESS.read more

I ordered 17 Thuja Green Giants in 2018…

I ordered 17 Thuja Green Giants in 2018 from Fast Growing Trees. The first year I lost 4 of them. They advertise these arborvitaes that they are easy to care for, little issues with them. I've put more money in to trying to save them then I did in purchasing them, which they cost about $100 each. Half of them still have stunted growth. I've used fertilizer spring and fall, top grade soils and now most of them have spider mites, powdery mildew and black spots. Their tips are turning brown and some branches are just dying completely. I have had to do extensive research and contact professionals. The Thuja Green Giants can be extremely expensive and challenging to try and grown. I've invested so much time and money trying to save these trees. Three out of 17 are doing okay. I have contacted Fast Growing Trees several times on this issue, only to be told what they are experiencing is "normal". Well, if I continue to believe that, I am going to have over a dozen huge holes in my yard from having to remove dead Thuja Green Giants. These arborvitaes have one good point- they are deer resistant. Otherwise, I've incurred issue after issue. Adding more expensive soil, best brands of fertilizer, and now trying to rid them all of diseases and spider mites. Never would I recommend this arborvitae, nor could I recommend Fast Growing Trees as they have provided very poor information over the last few years on what is wrong. Now I am desperate to save them as they only got worse. I also wrapped them in burlap the first year. I've done everything I can imagine to help these trees, including a lot of praying.read more
Ships in 1-2 days? I disagree.

I ordered some trees on April 27th, today is May 5th and they still haven't shipped. They state that they ship in 1-2 days. This is not the case. So far all I have received are apologies and excuses. I have canceled my order and am sourcing my trees elsewhere, unfortunately I have to wait days for them to return the money (which they have been holding since April 25th) but what's a few more days, right?read more
