freeCodeCamp Is Worth More Than A Passing Glance
I began to learn on freeCodeCamp in the summer of 2022. Having checked out other sites to learn to code on, I found, and find it amazing over the others. freeCodeCamp provides from the Archived of more detailed instructions, to the project based with clear instructions in their learning paths. They also offer English Classes for developers to help learners. Their courses are in several different languages. I particularly like the News Category which has so many valuable tutorials, and more. I enjoyed listening to many of the Podcasts. I have not visited their You Tube Channel; but,if it is as good as their other areas, it is amazing. I completed the Responsive Web Design in the Archived section before it was an archive. It was easy to follow the instructions, and to return to lessons to help with the projects when I was unsure. The platform improvements assure that learners receive enough, or should I say more than enough projects to understand the requirements, and code required for each step. The Forum and Discord have lots of people ready to help learners. I will say, I love learning on their platform.
Awesome
Awesome. thanks for their jobs and just continue but it would be better if you did more certificate courses on some popular frameworks like Nextjs, or others. Great job !

This is my first time to have an online certification. And I started from scratch to train myself in web development. Thank you for this great initiative which aims to make us learn
Great for beginners
Lots of fun, free exercises to get beginners started with coding. Their project based curriculum is free of charge and it helps you build a starting portfolio too. Great initiative!
Learned coding faster than i thought
Learned coding faster than i thought, The full stack course is very good and im currently learning, so far very good. Giving these out with a free certificate is awesome
A little bit taught for a beginner
A little bit taught for a beginner to understand at first, but it makes more challenging it. I managed to finish a few courses even it took much time. Some more explanation on courses will improve this site.
I'm all for free learning tools but...
I'm all for free learning tools (if you ignore the donation nag screen every few lessons or so) and admire their dedication to provide this. Using this site is not too bad, but not a top notch experience. The online editor is a bit clunky and doesn't provide niceties like predictive text (so you're copying/pasting variable/function names or having to type them out char by char). There is, however, one fairly major problem: your answers must be literally identical to what the lesson expects, even if your answer is perfectly, functionally correct. For example: I submitted "(var1 + (var2 * var3))", which was reported as incorrect. What was expected was "(var1 + var2 * var3)!! It's a pain as it makes you think you've made a genuine mistake so not particularly conducive to the learning experience.
Mobile access could be better, but overall a great website!
I've learned a lot from this website and thank them a lot for teaching me most of what I know about coding. I've learned HTML, CSS, and a bit of Javascript from them, and all for free too!
