What an awful company this outfit is, there have been a few reviews on here around how they misleadbusiness on the status of their account verification.
They grossly mislead me by telling me that my account was verified with the great big "We are now making pay-outs to your account", but oh no, because when I asked as to why they were not making said pay-outs, they said they wanted to "ask some questions"
I acknowledge that they wanted to do this at the beginning, however, having seen the status message I interpreted this as them changing their minds and that my account was verified.
But, that would have been too easy for you, wouldn't it, GoCareless?
I realise that common-sense is actually a gift very few people possess but the charity cases whom we're supposed to refer to as "employees" at GoCareless just abuse this.
I suspect that GoCareless employs the rejects of the financial services industry, it is very evident that one charity case (sorry, I mean "employee") previously worked for one of the biggest, most prestigious financial institutions in the world, and they're now working for this Clown Outfit.
So, if you ever mess up your career at a respected firm and no other firm will hire you because of the law suit you sere subjected to, or the black mark on your career record, don't worry, GoCareless will hire you?
Do you want to retire at 109 years of age, still on minimum wage and paid just to throw spanners into the works, the hopes and the dream of hard-working businesses out of spite towards them? Hey, no sweat dude, GoCareless will hire you!
Are you just angry at life because you failed at it, and you're having to serve people every day who are actually making a go of their lives? Hell, just rock up at the front doors of GoCarless, say "gis a job, mate!" and by heck, you'll be hired!
Do yo love insulting the intelligence of your clients? Well, you know what do to! Hit GoCareless up, explain to them how good you are at fobbing off clients whose money you're holding by giving out lame excuses such as "As a responsible and regulated financial services firm...", well, then don't bother signing on at the benefits office today, come work at GoCareless!
They then went quiet, so I had to chanse up a multi-million dollar company to do what I pay their salaries to do, the woman (well she sounded like a woman, I would hate to assume genders so BiasedPilot comes crying to me about how I mis gendered someone) on the other end of the phone told me that although they were still looking it my account "I can't give you anything else".
They have our funds in limbo and they "can't give [me] anything else" after explaining how they have to follow FCA regulations.
What other financial services company do you know that provides a poor service and then hides behind the excuse of the fact that they "have to follow FCA regulations"?
Do GC honest believe that if we felt they did not follow FCA regulations, that we would be using them?
Every other FS company in the world manages to effectively follow FCA regulations and still provide a good level of customer service, so what could possibly be so special about GoCareless?
After they realised that insulting my intelligence did not work, they finally had to admit that lessons were learned & that "opportunities were missed", that the 'Chuckle Brothers' down at the Verification Team should have handled this much more professionally than they did, that they should have apologized much sooner than they did, and where credit was due, one of the verification team did admit that they could not do their job to a satisfactory standard.
Bless them.
But no, any other company but GoCareless. Despite them saying that they will "take my feedback on board" I will bet a whole years' salary that I will still be seeing reviews on here saying exactly the same thing as me.
Note to BiasedPilot: before you even think about coming & crying to me about how GoCareless are stamping their feet over me calling them out over the fact that they admittedly made mistakes, I have all the evidence right here, so take your best shot.read more

This company may have a genuine business but they seem to not be averse to scamming vulnerable old people on the side.They took £500 from my 81 year-old dementia-ridden mother who has no smart phone or internet. I have now installed the excellent TrueCall Secure device to stop any other such calls in future. I wish I believed in Hell so people like this could end up there.read more

I have been trying to get a rate reveiw for months and speak to some one about my account.I get a call back from sales team sayingt they can do anything and some one will call me been waiting for 9 call backs. - The product is easy to us but service is shocking when you want to look over the costs been a cusotmer for 3 yearsread more

I have used the service consistently for about a year and have not had a failed payment collection yet.Integrates with my Xero account seamlessly.
