Continued to charge even after i closed Shopify store

I installed the App to integrate it with my shopify website. but then i decided to close that store,so i closed it on shopify. completely deleted it, but i did not go through each app to uninstall, thinking that since the sotre is closed, so should all connected Apps. turns out i was being charged a subscription even tho my store is completely closed on Shopify. when i contacted support, they simply apologized. no refund was arranged. i was NOT using the service. its sad that companies like this choose to offer terrible customer service, to save pennies. I like the service, but i will not use the App again because of this incident that tells you they are trying to rip you off and they dont care if they do. A reputable company should not allow this to happen, and should either notify the store owner OR if i raise a claim should respond directly with a full refund since the store was closed on Shopify (where i downloaded the app) .read more

Shippo enables large corporations like UPS to abuse small companies. We recently signed in with themand in a period of 5 weeks have received 3 illegitimate charges from UPS for auditing packages where they made up the dimensions of the packages. One of the charges was for $1,024 for a UPS ground package that weighted 19 lb going from Tennessee to New Hampshire. We provided pictures of the package and enough evidence to Shippo while UPS never provided any evidence whatsoever, and still Shippo kept our money that we are still trying to recover. When we said that we were going to raise the case with our banking institutions about this illegitimate charges, Shippo’s representative threatened us with freezing our account. It is not that we care about keeping the account open, but we can’t yield to this kind of threat. This should not be allowed in US today. Enabling an 86 billion company to abuse a small minority owned company that is struggling to survey through this Covid-19 crisis should be illegal in this country and at any time.read more
Shippo worst mistake for my small business

We used shippo for our small business and had one package damaged through UPS. We placed a declared amount and UPS is fighting that declared amount.UPS is fighting to pay us because it was done through Shippo so my word of advice find another 3rd party or go directly through your shipping vendor. And shippo has NO number to contact them just an email, they never respond to emails and have poor customer service.read more

Horrible customer service. My account was locked while fulfilling customer orders.I had no one to contact over the weekend to get it resolved And it significantly delayed my ability to ship to my customers efficiently. They are linked to GoDaddy, so think twice about your eCommerce needs when using GoDaddy also.read more

Big scam. Avoid them. They charge you more for faster service and ALWAYS delay. So I always pay for a 2-day shipping service and they deliver it in 7 days!!!!
There is no support.The customer service simply ignores your message. No way to call them directly.read more
Shippo never filed the DHL claim I sent them. Their lack of action me $600.00+.

I have had the worst customer service experience EVER. I filed an insurance claim with them for a DHL Express shipment.Their process is so vague and it is impossible to call anyone on the phone. You use Shippos DHL account when you purchase the label, so you have to have Shippo file the claim on your behalf. I followed the instructions given via email and WEEKS later I got a reply saying DHL returned my claim because the Waybill was missing. The Waybill is something Shippo has in their possession and could have provided and should have known was missing when I sent them the information. I resubmitted with the missing info and that was the last I heard from Shippo.
When I was going over my financial statements, I realized this claim was never paid and that SHippo never responded. I contacted DHL and they said they did not have any record of a claim and it was too late to submit it. I contacted Shippo and was told they would investigate and get back to me. I have not heard from them for several weeks. In the mean time, I have filed two more claims and they do not even reply with any claim numbers or confirmation that the claim has been submitted when you blindly email the information. There is NO PROCESS on their website for submitting, updating, or tracking DHL insurance claims.
Now, for one of the recent two claims (DHL tracking# 2708771811), I've received a check with an arbitrary amount of $172.44 when the claim amount was $499.99 and the insurance I paid was based on this amount. No explanation or confirmation from Shippo that the claim was even received or submitted, just a random check from DHL a week after emailing the claim paperwork to Shippo. No answer from Shippo on the third or first claim they never submitted that cost me the value of the item plus the replacement plus a second shipment.
I feel Shippo should cover the this claim because they never submitted it to DHL and now it is too late. I have copies of the email chains between myself, SHippo, and DHL proving this. I would also like an answer as to why the second claim was only $172.00. As soon as I figure these issues out, I am taking my webstore and business from this frustrating and risky platform.read more
