IMDb, a site that you can no longer trust

I honestly thought that IMDb was a decent site that allowed unbiased reviews. Prior to two weeks ago,I had written several reviews that were quite popular and had been on IMDb for over a year. Then, approximately a month ago, I had a a review taken down due to pointing out obvious flaws in an extremely "woke" movie. I did not use any foul language, nor did I make any disparaging comments re the actors, I simply pointed out the lack of logic in this film. I then posted another review of an extremely bad "movie". Currently, this movie is scoring under 1.4 on IMDb. My first review was taken down, which, indecently, received 25 likes in just under a day. I then proceeded to write a second review, ensuring that I did not violate any of IMDb conditions. That review was also taken down. I then noticed that several other negative reviews were also taken down and yet IMDb left reviews that rated the film 9 and above. They even left a review made by a CAST MEMBER of this "film"! I am sorry, but IMDB is no longer a credible source of information.

It seems like the website has been taken hold of by the entertainment industry. Personally,I enjoy writing honest, impartial reviews that discuss both the positives and negatives of a TV show or film. However, I’ve come to realise that if a production is new or controversial upon its release, then IMDB suddenly doubles its contribution time, or flat out denies your review without basis. Here’s an example:
The Equalizer 2021 staring Queen Latifah – I posted a review stating clearly and concisely why this show fails as a show and how it can be improved upon, my review was submitted very early, early enough that it would be seen by potential viewers, but it was denied.
I emailed to ask why it was denied, they gave me a typical answer that didn’t address my question, so I asked that they be specific, they declined to answer again, I emailed again for specifics and they said it was due to ‘offensive remarks.’ Now, I go out of my way to ensure my reviews are kind and inoffensive, so immediately I knew this to be untrue, I asked that they tell me specifically what I said that was ‘offensive’ and they didn’t answer, instead reiterating it was ‘offensive.’ I wouldn’t let the issue go and continued to email asking why it was offensive until eventually they emailed me back and apologised for the mistake and admitted nothing was offensive. They asked me to submit the review again, at which point it was too late for a review as most other people had been and gone, so they had managed to successfully block an honest review.
What’s worse is that during my interaction with their support team I posted a separate review, but with a high score and positive remarks that was accepted immediately. Then I periodically edited the review until it was my original one, why did I have to go through days of emailing and trickery to get my review on you ask? Because studios are paying IMDB (a private company) for false reviews and ‘time,’ time to ensure their product can make maximum profits and false reviews to trick consumers into watching their product, regardless of quality.
The same thing’s happening with another review I’m trying to post now, drastic slowdowns and when I asked why it was taking 3 days longer than it should I’m just being told some rubbish about their editors not making it to my submission yet, even though I’ve added other reviews that have been accepted since, and the one I was querying should’ve been added on the 14th at its latest.
The site seems to be okay with reviews that aren’t objective or specific, by that I mean one’s that read like this “I hated it, I hated everything about it,” but when informative reviews that go into detail about why the film or show suffers (again, only newer productions, they seem to be okay with older Tv-shows and film reviews going up regardless of good or bad due to the ‘time’ effect I mentioned earlier) they get stopped.
It’s a real shame, honest critique is a true value and can help people make a decision on whether or not they should spend their hard-earned money on a product, seeing them go out of their way to block honest reviews is disappointing.
Just wanted to vent about my experience, emailing them was horrible, they don’t admit fault and move forwards, instead, they send copy pasted replies in the hopes you’ll go away due to frustration, a tactic I’m seeing more and more sites employ.

Why is it, after time passed since Cuties was sh@t out of Netflix's perverted, sh!t crusted @$$es on 9 September 2020,ungracefully but rightfully getting a 3.1 rating (when it should have gotten a 1.0, 0 or negative numbers and should be rotting in the IMDB's Bottom 100), are all the reviews rightfully calling this film out for how it threatens to destigmatize, normalize and legalize pedophilia, obscene images/videos of children and other sexual illegal crimes, breaks US law, and is an obscenely shaped wizz-stain on the face of film history, getting less helpful votes, but the reviews by braindead pinheads praising this absolute garbage, defending and enabling pedophiliac crimes and adding to child sexual exploitation get more helpful votes and attention?!!? Is it a case like with The Oogieloves and Norm of the North where the studio people who worked on the film wrote all the positive reviews.........or are the people now currently working at IMDB in cahoots with the pedophile Boy Scout Leaders (I thankfully dodged a bullet not joining them), pedophile Catholic priests who give ✝️ people a bad name, or the online pedophilia/zoophilia ring Furry Raiders?? Are they from the Dark Web?
After finding this out, I have deleted my account from the website and I would suggest anyone with eyes (and glasses if needed) and a brain to do the same. Only a fool would still stay on at this point, especially since how IMDB is like Wikipedia where anyone can say anything, and that website needs investigating and possible shutting down.
I'm not surprised, based on reading other reviews, that this website also turned to pandering, pushing of political bull that nobody wants in movies or TV shows, and @$$-kissing the Social Justice W@nkers that have ruined social media.
P.S. There also was this racist movie named "Cracka" that is both offensive and racist to black people and white people, don't listen to all the positive IMDB reviews given, they're obviously faked by the pathetic hacks that worked on that terrible excuse for a film who are butthurt by criticism, as if movie-making didn't get pathetic enough...

I tried to find and download a film from IMDB over Christmas. The only way I could access the site was by giving my debit card details.A few days later I was phoned to say that Amazon was about to remove 135 UK pounds from my account - I assumed it was a fake call as I get about one a week from 'Amazon'. It turned out the IMDB had put me on a year's contract, what was wrong with a month's trial? My bank account was showing Retailer Recipient AMZ etc for 135 pounds. My bank assumed it was a fraud so I cancelled my debit card. It turned out that IMDB had sent me emails over Christmas that went into my junk box. It looks as if Amazon is hand in glove with IMDB and this arrangement should definitely be looked into.
