It is used by trial and appellate courts, administrative law courts, prosecutors, public defender and attorney general offices, and other governmental agencies, including probation, tribal, and state and county governments. The Daily Journal Corporation, which owns Journal Technologies, has two modern office buildings near downtown Los Angeles, an office building in Logan, Utah, and an office in Denver. Journal Technologies has about 240 employees. Although the Daily Journal is a public company, control rests with the Board of Directors. Corporate management includes Charlie Munger as Chairman of the Board. He, as vice chairman, and Warren Buffett, as chairman, manage Berkshire Hathaway, one of the largest and most respected companies in the United States.
