if I could give negative stars I would. I asked questions before purchasing and the item still atrives not as described.I tried returning and they are trying the charge me ridiculous restocking and shipping fees for their mistake. I told them I want a full refund and and they ignore emails, hang up on me, major attitude and don't let you speak. After calling several times over two months I've decided to dispute with credit card. Every time they say they will be in touch but never get an email or call and when we call again they say the last time we called "whatever they said is irrelevant". I literally cant express enough how horrible this company is and everyone that works there.

Unfortunately, I did not read prior reviews before purchasing from this company and had the same unfortunate experience as many of the other reviewers.The item sent was not the item ordered, but rather very inferior to what I ordered. That is unfortunate, but, I get that people make mistakes. What is inexcusable is their (misnamed) customer service department's total incompetence and complete lack of desire to do anything about the company's mistakes, make false promises and guarantees, and outright lie to you. I have already spent more time than the item I was supposed to get is even worse and it appears Katom is not going to do anything about it. I guess I will dispute the charge through my credit card.

Katom used to be a reputable company, not any more!!! I ordered a heating shelf, It took a month to receive and it was not the correct item ($300).After dozens of calls, lies and insults, I am finally have giving up. Use ACityDiscount or WebstaurantStore, booth are what Katom once was. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

Horrible business to do business with. I ordered supplies over a month ago and havent received.I calledcustomer service only to be told they are out of stock.I said it would have been nice to inform me of this. They should a date for delivery that never happened. I would NEVER do business with them again. Go somewhere else for your restaurant needs!

5/18/2021
After searching for the President, COO and another's contact information and sending a note,they have resolved the issue.
Because of this, I fully support Katom and will continue to do business with them. I appreciate being able to resolve the issue with them.

Sarah, a CRS in their returns department, and Sarah who supposedly manages their returns department are the most difficult and untrustworthy people I have spoken with at Katom. I purchased $8k worth items. They freighted all of it except for $500 worth of items. Those $500 of items were lost and they refused to reship or refund my money. Do not do business with them.

Two months and they can't ship 15 lunch trays.

I ordered 15 lunch trays back in March. They failed to say that the trays would be sent by the manufacturer because they don't warehouse them.Three weeks later I received 8 trays and was told the rest would ship soon. It's now the middle of May and I have yet to receive the trays. Each time I contact customer service, they push the issue off as the manufacturer's fault. No. I didn't buy the trays from the manufacturer. They refuse to just fix the issue.

Do not trust this company! They sent me an incorrect item that was not the brand I purchased,after a month of calls and emails they finally refused to give me a refund or exchange. I sent pictures of my item. It was in its intact condition yet they refused my refund request
