Google Maps is great for navigation, directions, and street view.
The review part of it is the complete opposite.There are tons of fake reviews on Google Maps. Ratings are impossibly high. Google removes any review that businesses don't like, so the ratings are not accurate in any way shape or form. All a business has to do is lie and claim that the reviewer wasn't a customer of theirs. Google has no way of knowing, but they'll always side with the business and delete perfectly legitimate reviews.
There's also lots of bad data. Most business details are crowd-sourced (submitted by random users on the internet). A lot of it is wrong. Some of it is harmful--there are lots of website URLs that lead to malware, and for some reason, Google doesn't take them down.

Yesterday and last week, I used google maps, and it was the worst choose I’ve ever mad,the journey had to take me half an hour, it took me 2 hours!!!!! And kept took me in circles through the m4 and motorways. I went to my destination at the end by waze it was more accurate.
2 times now it has done this to me, and I will never ever use this stupid app again.

I have to rate it average because I like the accurate locations maps but the places on google maps are not adjactly placed when we explore that area.Many hotels, offices, banks etc are placed in wrong places in maps which is kind of annoying while finding those places through maps. That's why I can't give it 5 stars. Hope It will get better soon in future.

Hi, I would like Google Maps to allow people's comments on the reviews job sites to respond.There's no option to reply people's comments and if someone mentions my name I can't answer to the individual's comment. You need to therefore update Google Maps Reviews on cities I have visited or worked to be able to reply and have my opinion.

If you had a good or a bad experience at a store, this is a good place to tell about it.
Google Maps does have its problems. They censor things sometimes with no clear reason.

Dicing with death every single time I try to use this. I expect there are many casualties already.A simple "25 minute walk" regularly turns into a 2 hour + walk into the back of beyond, with barely a hope in hell of getting back. It would be funny if it wasn't so dangerous.
