In response to vin,I'm a gambler but this past 14 months I decided to give the lottery app a go(hahaha)wellI can safely say I've lost over 2k & my best 2 wins have been £100(I bought 1 £5 card & won the 100)& my next best win was on £3 crossword cards that I've mainly stuck to playing just to test out a theory,my best win has been £40 but the losses on this card has been atrocious, I was spending a lot of money(deposits upto £500)each week & losing all the time & then the lottery threatened to close my account if I didnt reduce my weekly spending limit,its been at £100 a week(& spent 100 a week)for a few months & guess what I've won,absolutely nothing,if I win a couple of pounds i play it back in because i simply cannot believe that this is what happens with the national lottery,had i been able to get to the shops i fully know I'd have won a bit back but not on the app,the card i play regularly,they sell me the exact same card on a regular basis & its usually always losing ones,one night I bought 13 £5 merry millions cards & i didnt win a single thing back,that night I spent £84 & didnt win a single penny back(I did win £64 on normal lottery that night & thought I'd try playing the scratch cards),I'm totally flabbergasted by the online lottery because they sell many many more losers than winners which obviously makes them a hell of a lot of money.

This is a genuine question and I am truly interested to read your responses:
Does anyone actually win with the national lottery anymore?I mean both the main lottery and scratch cards.
Since they added extra balls it's near enough impossible to win a monetary prize and the most I have won is £5 on the must be won trickle down weeks.
Something happened with the scratch cards a couple years ago too. I remember I would win the occasional £10 on the £2 games but now you are lucky and I mean really lucky just to win your money back. Sometimes you might double the £2 but more often then not I've bought 2 cards so it's still basically your money back.
I would truly like to read your experiences because I am 100% sure Camelot have fiddled with the odds of winning on scratch cards and kept it quiet.
Drop a mention at the top of your reply so I know where to look and share your thoughts. I think there has been change and Camelot are raking it in. I would be interested to see the results of the so called "independent" audits because there is absolutely no way the odds of winning match with what Camelot publishes.
The lottery hasn't been fun for years. They are a private business set on making as much profit as they can and at the expense of well intentioned public.

This organisation is a repository of incompetence. They have recently changed the rules due to money laundering regulations (which have been around for years)so that you can only have one account. I manage a syndicate and for obvious reasons like to keep everything completely separate. This change has caused me no end of time and problems. There was very little warning and these utterly useless clowns clearly did not consider syndicate managers within the scope of the project before implementation. Absolute incompetence.
