I bought a preowned device. The original owner had lost a card with a key, which is distinct from the one on the bottom of the device.The device is practically a brick without the software and they have never sold the product without the software.
Their answer: Here's a link where you can buy the software for 69 euros and not answering my actual question in the email.
After a week, they are yet to answer me back on a further inquiry. The ticket is marked as solved.

I purchased online a worthless product because I can't download Native Access that is the software youneed to run the guitar rig software and they will not help me solve the issues by simply taking a look at the zip files on the website to see if it is working properly. I reported this company to the Better Business Bureau as a bunch of frauds. If I could give them no star at all I would.

I've been using Komplete products for over 8 years now and 2 years ago I started getting more serious when I purchased a Maschine Mk3 as well as Komplete UC.I have nothing but positive experiences.
My first Maschine was the Mikro and although the hardware was excellent its workflow wasn't for me. I had purchased it on the NI website, returned it and got my money back no questions asked. I also got myself the full Mk3 version from them. Around that time I also expanded from Komplete to Ultimate and later the UC version, no issues. Even upgraded from Komplete 12 to 13 without any issues.
The reason I'm giving 5 stars is because NI also has a user support forum and they don't shy away from negative comments. In fact, there are NI staffers active there as well and they're always happy to help. So based on my personal experiences and my experiences as a forum member I have some serious issues with believing the credibility of all these negative reviews below mine. Also considering the fact that this profile isn't even claimed by Native Instruments!
Is this perhaps a way to "persuade" them into activating a Trustpilot company account? I'm beginning to have some doubts right now.
To all those people having problems with NI: Go to the forum (you'll find it under the 'Community' tab), register, and share your concerns there. I'm very positive that it will be dealt with.

Files are always not found. Paid 550 euros for MK3 that includes Komplete but because NI uses some bitchass relocate system which cannot find files,shiett does not load. money wasted. don't trust germans with music, they only know how to make cars

Taken aback at negative reviews…

I am taken aback reading all the negative reviews here. I believe them, of course,but all I can say is that my tech experience has been flawless. I bought a lot of music production software recently, and the NI, Toontrack, and Universal audio stuff all work extremely well in regards to installation, etc.. Only the Roland interface for their online sounds is not good. Anyway, I was very impressed with the NI installer and how well it worked, and how it kept track of everything. Of course, if it doesn't work for *you*, then my experience isn't helpful. As for tech support, their ticket system is not great, and their way of explaining how to reach them is also bad. Going through their question process usually ends up with no result at all and no ticket opened. If you want to open a ticket, you have to pretend to ask for a refund, then it lets you open a ticket. Otherwise it's impossible to do. And ironically, the link they provide to a video that SHOWS you how to open a ticket is broken! However, the online chat support is open 6 hours a day, which is what I used. It's confusingly put since it says open 3 hours PST and 3 hours CET. CET = Central European time. And the hours are not contiguous! So I chatted at 4:00 a.m. Los Angeles time, which was 1:00 p.m. CET. They responded immediately and were very helpful and solved my issue right away. Alas, my issue was based on the way a few things are worded on their website, and they really need to make things a bit clearer to avoid that. However, I am giving 5 stars because the NI software itself is flawless for downloading, and the instruments, etc., are just incredible. Great sounds, Battery easy to use, wonderful flexibility all around. If you can't make great music with all these sounds, then you can't make great music period! Anyway, I hope they clear up the confusing chat support hours and make it clearer for people to buy into the NI world, because once you're in, it's great.
