I went with my dog for his 1st grooming, he is a well behaved dog... we arrived 11:25 am ...at 3:00pm they called us and said they couldn’t cut his hair because he was afraid and they gave him only a bath, not Nail trimming not brushing not blow dry... and they charged me $43 !!! First and last time going to Petco ! Horrible service !

Petco apparently puts items on sale and then does not stock their stores with the items.I recently inquired about a 75 gallon aquarium at the store in California, MD on a Thursday and was told that they would be in on the following Monday. I asked when would be a good time to come by and purchase the item and was told after noon. I showed up a 2:15 PM and was told that there were no 75 gallon aquariums on the truck, furthermore I was told that the store manager had ordered the 75 gallon aquariums in advance of the sale so he could be sure the store had them in stock 3 weeks previously. I was then told that the 75 gallon aquariums usually are not sent to the stores while they are on sale! What kind of business model is this? I will never shop at this chain again, for anything!

I had two appointments for my dogs.the girl changed my time for my appointment and only took my dog ranger.i asked for grooming hair cut and trim and bath cut toe nails.when I picked hi.Up he only got a bath and toe nails.she told me they don't cut border collie hair.hmm the last time I took my dogs in they cut and trimmed both dogs hair.i will not take baxter and ranger back petco in oak harbor ever again.paid 85.00 dollars plus a 20.00 tip.wont be back we been going their along time.they have never turned down baxter before.done with petco.sincerely Bill and Rita neighbours of Oak Harbor wa. Hope they will talk to the person who did the job and didn't do what we wanted.lazy and didn't want to go out of her way.but after getting her tip she wanted to schedule our other dog.I said no my husband will do our other dog.done with you petco.

I returned cat food. The money did not appear on my bank statement for 30 days although it only takes 5 days Ffor it to appear.I called the local store and the employee told me it takes 35 days and I should call back in one more day since it was day 34. Completely incorrrect information and he was not interested at all in my situation. I aslo asked employee to speak to the manager. Employee said the manager would call back later in the day. Manager did not call back. Spoke to the employee again who said the manager didn't think it was important to call me back until the 35 days wee up! I now have to call corporate to get help.

I went to Petco in Lithonia, Georgia ( Stonecrest Mall area) for a scheduled grooming appointment, (05/13/2021 @1045am). I received awful customer service from both the grooming area and the Male store manger. After several minutes in the location the groomer Ms. Cassie said, ( I think that is her name) " Petco doesn't work with dogs older than 9 years old". My dog is 11 years old, and she was groomed at the location this year.
In dismay and disbelief, I went to my car, then phoned the store manager. I expressed my concern, he asked me to hold for him to gather information about the matter. My call was disconnected. I went back into the store and was told the groomer can decide not to service an animal. My dog is an 8 pound Chi-poo, she doesn't bark, nor bite, she has no health problems, she'll friendly. The store has a problem free recent history with her.
The manger never apologized for the phone disconnect, nor the inconvenience related to not being providing a scheduled service.
I will never again go to a Petco.

I ordered my dog food online. I received the email my order was ready so I phoned them.I could tell the man that answered the phone didn’t sound like he was in a good mood. I pulled up ( there was only one other car in the lot) the closest spot in the empty lot was a handicap spot) so I thought I would pull half in to make it quicker for the guy to put in my trunk. It was a 47 lb bag and felt like if I pulled closer it would help him out and if I saw someone come I would move. The whole transition was maybe 5 minutes. When he came to the car to check my I.d. He really just glanced at it and as he was walking to my trunk he told me not to block the entrance for the other customers that need those spots or something like that! He was just a jerk about it and had I intended to be there longer than a few minutes I would have never parked there. I know I shouldn’t have pulled in there but honestly was thinking of how far he would have to carry the bag. I bet if I go back I find the furthest spot away from the store possible! It was uncalled for and very rude!!

We have been faithful customers of Petco repeat delivery program for over 5 years!For the last 2 months they have chosen to cancel our order in favor of sending our bags of food to new customers. No doubt in hopes of snaring new fools to replace those of us who have wised up about their repugnant marketing strategy. But read more, their quality control is horrible. The smell differs from bag to bag with some having a distinctly rancid odor. And God help you if you try to work with what passes for customer service. They couldn't give you an honest answer if they wanted to, and they don't want to!

I would give it 0 stars if I could. The absolute worst customer service ever. They lie and say anything to get you off the phone.Out of 4 phone calls requesting to speak with a supervisor, and being told one will call you back, I've had no phone calls returned by a supervisor or an associate. This was all after the website told me a certain date for delivery of what I was ordering, then saying a totally different date once the order was placed. Could not get my order canceled until the next day. But that was April 29th and i still don't have my refund. And when I called I was told it shipped and would be here May 5th. That was too late and I had already canceled, so I don't know what they were talking about. Then a few days later i was told it was delivered. No it was not delivered. I never received it and I have a ring doorbell to confirm that, so I requested a supervisor once again to get my refund, and still nothing. Had to fight it with my bank. Never again
