Avoid Ev supermarket / Power EV / EMS Engineering (Same company), they are Technically incompetent at installing car chargers for the following reasons.
1.Installed current transformer on grid incoming supply wrong way around
2. Installed charger to incorrect height to building regulations and BS7671 and asked me to pay £65 for them to lift it.
3.Didnt turn up when requested
4. Didn't order materials on time resulting aborted visits to my property.
5 Installed current transformer on solar and pv supply the incorrect way around
6. DNO electrical safety notice issued for incorrect meter tail size during install
7. Used crimp connectors on CT clamps against manufacturers instructions
8. Installed incorrect charger from original order.
They are unresponsive to emails and won't return phone calls.
No electrical safety certificates issued, no DNO charger install issued, request payment upfront.
Very bad company and hard to work with. Wish I didn't go with them. I should have known when they asked for payment upfront.
I've had 3 visits from them and require a 4th to fix the faulty charger install which they won't answer my emails or calls to come and fix.

If i could give zero i would. this company farms itself as ev supermarket, ems engineering,power ev amongst other i haven't discovered yet. i had to pay up front it then took 3 months to get an install date . had the wrong charger delivered, then the engineer didn't turn up and they turned up without telling me. the tried to charge me more. the owner refused to speak to me. refused a refund. please avoid this company unless you're happy with poor service. they may seem cheap but the problems just aren't worth it.read more

Being a new customer of an electric vehicle, I was feeling very uneasy at first, when starting to look for the right Charger to have installed.All my worries and concerns were banished after speaking with the very polite and professional advisors.
They answered all questions and dealt with application in a timely manor.

It is great that a number of people have had good service and left positive reviews here. Unfortunately,my experience is somewhat different. The experiences of many others also seem to be poor according to the reviews on Google. Here's my experience.
Fingers crossed that Power EV will get my installation sorted.
Power EV installed a My Zappi to my home address. They recommended this unit as I have solar panels. Unfortunately, my SP's are not set up to convert power to an EV making the unit a poor & costly recommendation (My Zappi is a far more expensive option).
The first device was faulty, which of course isn't Power EV's fault. However, their failure to return calls or emails is! It took 2 months to get the device replaced, during which, how do I charge my car?
Both times the engineers have been to the site they have attempted to leave without explaining the installation and confirming it works.
The current state of play is that I have a charger which doesn't fully work with the system nor will it communicate with the hub and so the app also doesn't work. I also haven't received any installation paperwork.
I have been in contact with a team leader but apparently, he doesn't work there anymore so I now no longer have a point of contact.
My last attempted contacts by phone and email have not been responded to.
30/09/20: Follow up to the above:
Power EV called me and booked in a visit for today to install an energy harvesting device FOC & to fix the unit. The engineer called me to ask if I had the part, which I hadn't, he said he would call head office and call me back, he hasn't I have called him but he is now not answering. I have called head office myself and have been told that an Ops Manager will call me back.read more
