Subscription is a waste of money as you…

Reviewed on 2021-04-03T08:52:29

Subscription is a waste of money as you will be lucky to get 70% of issues. radio Times has an obsession with advertising itself with every opportunity, this being its delivery in see through packages for all to see and get attracted to, the postal workers. Phone them up to complain and they say the postman steal them. My Prima comes in a brown envelope and never gets stolen. Mount Pleasant sorting centre is a thieves dream.

Keep Well Away From

Reviewed on 2021-03-11T09:43:45

I recently subscribed to the Radio Times and was made aware of their shop from which I have made two purchases.Their customer service is very poor indeed. No tracking service and no communication re progress of your order. The web site suggests downloading an app which takes care of this but it is a waste of time and merely duplicates your order details and nothing else. The customer service phone line is not answered and links to a message option which then advises that the system is full and messages cannot be left, wonder why it’s full?? I await the arrival of my current order two weeks on! Very poor operation. Another company to add to my “Keep well away from” list. My subscription to Radio Times will not be renewed.

Radio Times online listings too ad intensive!

Reviewed on 2021-01-28T18:32:11

Radio Times online listings page are so Ad intense that it is impossible to read the listings.Ads and videos pop up all over the place. When you try to view details of any program listing your mouse often chooses the wrong link as the whole page jumps up to accomodate more incoming ads! There are far better online TV listing pages. As for the Radio Times mag, will probably never buy it. I remember buying the mag at Christmas years ago, when Radio Times only listed BBC and TV Times listed ITV. Now dumped the TV licence so no longer watch the BBC and you dont need a mag to watch other channels on catch up.

Don't bother cancelling subscription through website

Reviewed on 2020-07-04T14:37:25

I cancelled my special offer subscription through the Radio Times website well before it was due to end.Big mistake. When I kept getting copies of the magazine I knew something had gone amiss and sure enough, £49.40 taken out of my bank a few days ago. Can't log in because apparently my password is wrong, no automatically generated email to reset it. Come on Radio Times, get your act together.
