What does Rough Runner do?
Rough Runner is a new breed of sporting event that has been created to cater to one of the fastest-growing sports markets in the world in a fresh, unique way. However, while popular among hard core crowds, the barrier to entry is too high to have a hope of mass adoption in the wider running community. The events are brutal and unnecessarily painful, with severe injuries regularly reported, and several deaths. Enter Rough Runner, with a much-needed new approach. We have introduced the world of TV game shows to OCRs, creating an event that remains physically challenging but with the appeal of shows like Gladiators, Takeshi's Castle, Wipeout and more. Inspired by these shows, our obstacles are fun but not painful, tough but not brutal. To be enjoyed, not endured. In doing this, we are bringing the sport to a wider audience by lowering the barriers to entry. Everyone can enter our events, rather than the select few who currently ‘qualify' for existing OCRs. Under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, Section 75, all creditors are now entitled to claim refund via the bank/card issuer.When you contact your bank/card send them a copy of the act that shows there has been appointed an administrator to close the company as they declared insolvency. All documents are available here: ips-online.com. Login code R410 Password 031120.
If the bank does not want to help, you have to submit a request to refund to the appointed administrator here : RG Insolvency Limited, quote Case R410

Update from my last review. I have had to pay court fees to issue a CCJ against this company.They have failed to reply to the court order and just today I’ve seen they have put a post on FB stating they are going into administration as of 5th November. I suspect they are going down this route because they can’t issue refunds to us from last year.
They delete any negative (truthful) comments about them on FB and claiming they are refunding this years participants for cancelling the 2020 event. More than likely they’ve robbed hundreds of people of their money for as long as they can and then shut the company down when the CCJ’s come flying in.
Companies like this should not be allowed to get away with daylight robbery. It’s a sham and I would not touch them or their future companies with a barge pole.

Awful company! Booked a race for myself and my partner which was cancelled due to covid.There has been no communication about options to refund or possible reschedule dates. Received a strange email saying they have gone Into liquidisation? Just want my money back! Has anyone got any tips? They have ignored all my emails

Disgusting, no refund yet the event has been delayed an entire year!! Zero customer service as all staff are furloughed,they are holding my money against my will, I will never use this theiving company again.

Event cancelled due to Corona, which I accept is beyond their control. The problem lies in their lack of communication and refusal to refund my money.Like some of the other infamous airlines that assume you're happy with a postponed ticket, they (1) didn't ask for consent for that and (2) have literally ignored every correspondence I've sent them.
