RT (formerly Russia Today) is a global international news network that broadcasts in multiple languages from its studios in Moscow and Washington, DC. Launched in December 2005 as Russia Today, RT now reaches nearly 650 million viewers worldwide. RT covers the major issues of our time for viewers wishing to question more and delivers stories often missed by the mainstream media to create news with an edge. Aside from regular news updates, RT offers a unique insight into many aspects of Russian history, culture and opinions. The RT network consists of three global news channels broadcasting in English, Spanish and Arabic, RT America broadcasting from a Washington, DC studio, a documentary channel RTDoc and a full-service video agency, RUPTLY. RT has 22 bureaus in 19 countries and territories, with a presence in Washington, New York, London, Paris, Delhi, Cairo, Baghdad, Kiev and other key cities and employs over 1000 journalists around the globe. In 2010, RT became the first Russian channel to be nominated for the prestigious International Emmy award, in the News category. The network received its second nomination, in 2012, for coverage of the Occupy Wall Street movement, becoming the only Russian TV channel with two iEmmy nods for News coverage. Rt always get column authors that seem to be experts in profiling ethnic minorities,in their poorly written and bias journals.
I use to be a lover of the alternative news gotten from Rt, but for a news network that complains of censorship from the governments. One will expect, them to be more objective in there reporting of issues affecting minority groups but no.
A quick visit on their Unregulated comments sessions, will shock you on the amount of antisemitic and racist comments, that is left unfiltered.
They are also quick to claim, that those are the views of the authors, why not check what the authors you pay write-up before publishing it on your website?

I have been an RT fan for many years and have enjoyed reading and listening to your many diverse and interesting topics on your channel .However there is one reporter who’s Over the top dramatization , annunciation and delivery with an extremely heavy fake British accent that makes me quickly change the channel . Perhaps you may have guessed who I’m describing, if not , it’s non other than your Paris reporter Ms Charlotte Dubinsky .
I’m sure she’s a very capable reporter however listening to her reporting the story is unfortunately equivalent to the sound of finger nails running down a blackboard ! not too pleasant.
I will continue to read and watch RT as always ,really enjoy your programming however I reserve the right to change the channel when a certain segment comes on .

I have a friend who loves rt.com and keep telling me conspiracy theories coming from this website.Most of the headlines are indeed accurate, but a proof checking of the details show that rt.com cites plenty of wrong, unproven or modified sources, so that the USA always look bad. I am tired of checking everything, just to learn that their articles are rubbish

I used to watch RT for the alternative point of view. But honestly sometimes they are very biased.I can personally judge based on how they broadcast a conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
20% of Azerbaijan territory has been occupied by Armenia for 30 years and this has been confirmed by several UN resolutions! Not a single country in the world, including Armenia itself, has recognized Nagorno Karabakh as an independent country!
War is war and it does not justify anybody. But RT mainly reports the facts favorable to the Armenian side.

Enjoyed reading to get a different point of view than Western media but not anymore.Even if you do not break any rules in your comment RT will just delete it if it doesn’t like it. They attack Facebook for censorship but they censor things themselves, talk about hypocrisy. On their “Hostilities break out between Armenia and Azerbaijan” article I replied some people that Turkey is involved by recruiting Syrian mercenaries and sending them to the border, which was not mentioned in the article, but every time I would mention even just Turkey the comment would be deleted. Shame! Nothing but a totalitarian machine.

They are very good and allow commenting which is unheard of here in Australia since we have very strong censorship and "hate speech" rules stifling free speech.However rt has turned into every other publication that allows only leftwing people to be offensive with connotations and not insults. Sadly RT hires israeli censors just like facebook. Google it.
