AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID AVOID Not only the worst airline, literally the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.Ryanair themselves cancelled our flights due to Covid, I completely understand this and expected this. Trying to get the money back owed to me after they cancelled the said flight is beyond ridiculous. Form after form I need to download and fill in and re-send. I need to send proof of I.D and address. I have had to confirm these details over and over again and yet still my refund is not process. One stipulation was that a particular document required a “wet signature”, somebody needs to remind O’Leary it is 2021. This is all a tactic aimed at keeping my money. This is clear as the initial email correspondence was so crafty that the refund link was hidden at the bottom whilst the credit note and rebooking button was at the top of the page and highlighted in yellow. As I write this I’m still unsure when I will get my money. I had to claim refunds with jet2 and TUI last year who’s processes were so simple in comparison. I would rather play 4 or 5 times the price for flights than ever consider using Ryanair again.

Hi there anyone had been refunded by Ryanair yet. Our original flight was supposed to be easter last year. Then got moved to May until it was cancelled. They offered a voucher but said if it wont be used, they will eventually pay it back to the account used to pay. Advise on what to do pls. Obviously they are not answering the calls. Thank you.

Worse than the worst.

Everyone knows Ryanair has the worst customer service, but even still it's shocking.Over 6 months ago I put in a claim for a refund. Their position remains that they're too busy to look at it and will get around to it eventually. Really, 6 months? Pathetic. Never again.

Finally light at the end of the tunnel

Finally light at the end of the tunnel. Messed around to no end last year with this company.Shocked to the core at how they handled the covid situation. The customer service was shocking, that is until 2 weeks ago phoned up asked some information about a voucher I had from last year that they refused to refund me. However, there policies have changed, refund actioned straight away, 7days later it appears back in the account. Ryanair if you did this before the first review would have been 5 stars and there would be no need to write this on.

Only fly Ryanair as a last resort!!

Reviewed on 2021-04-03T04:37:27

I’ve always heard bad reviews about Ryanair but personally I haven’t had an issue with them until now!I fly frequently with my 2 girls and have never been treated as bad by a member of staff! I’m currently in lanzarote with my 2 girls aged 6 & 10. I booked flight to get back to the uk followed every new covid rule to a T only to be refused boarding by an incompetent Ryanair manager as my 2 girls didn’t have a covid test booked for day 2 & 8 back in the uk! I started off nothing but polite only to be met with hostility by the manager when boarding.. he was totally in the wrong but instead of trying to keep the situation under control he told all his staff to turn around and not talk to me. After leaving the airport I spoke with Ryanair customer service who apparently couldn’t comment ? and told be to speak with the uk embassy for clarification on what tests are needed! After speaking with the embassy they confirmed children under 11 Do not need a test to fly to the uk! I tired showing the manager the uk.gov website to clarify everything was in order who then called the police as to remove me from the airport!!! I’ve now got to wait for Ryanair to confirm by email the rules set by the uk government to allow me and my 2 children to fly back to the uk! Use any other airline before Ryanair!!!!!!!

The biggest dirtiest lowlife airline…

The biggest dirtiest lowlife airline going. To think initially I was praising this airline.I fully understand that these are difficult times but to not issue a refund or REASONABLE alternative and end up costing you hundreds of pounds is pretty despicable. They’ve always played dirty I suppose. I’d rather swim than use these cretins again.

Worst Airline Appalling Service No refund After 12 Months

Reviewed on 2021-04-02T13:18:03

Flight cancelled 20/03/20 Ref Number T769VG been chasing a cash refund since, endless calls live chatemails still nothing.Filled in customer verification form 20th Nov had reply saying accepted and a cheque would be sent out,14th Dec email saying no cheque sent would be refunded to card when booking was made. Now 2/04/21 still no refund no reply to emails and chat ends when making enquiry about refund. I also listened to Mr O'Learly of Ryanair on GMB TV saying all refunds have been paid ! a complete liar. It is a pity this pandemic did not end the business they do not deserve to keep trading how they can keep getting away with not refunding customers is appalling

Worst airline

Reviewed on 2021-04-02T09:18:32

Worst airline, money driven and stepping over customers. I was denied boarding on the opinion of a seemingly burned-out and moody Ryanair staff; apparently my reason to travel was not permitted, although, the government lists it as a permitted reason to travel. They oversell tickets and try to find any reason to single out anyone and deny onboarding to free-up spaces. I was the second in the queue, as soon as a few people were denied, it got to a point where a lady was allowed to travel with an expired passport. I paid £85 pound for a COVID test that the staff did not even look at. This airline is a massive SCAM full of misinformed and unprofessional staff. Shame on you!!!!!
