Talk about a bad start. Decided to buy a bag through Shop Bop, it would have been my first ever purchase from them.Got a pop up offering me a promo code for a first time purchase discount. Then got an email saying “Oh shoot, you don’t qualify!” Um, how? It’s an introductory promo offer for fist time buyers, I’m a first time buyer. I’ve never had a company offer something and then one minute later say, basically, oops, sorry, lols.
Oh well, I miss out on the discount, but Shop Bop miss out on the $ because I won’t be buying from a company that’s misleading and disorganised before a purchase is even made!

Worst company. This is nothing but a fraud.
they allow credit cards to be used without any verification.My card was tried several times by someone fraudster on this site without them asking for any verification.

I have had no problems with my previous purchases from Shopbop . But this time , it’s been terribly frustrating.I ordered 6 days ago and item still has not shipped. And I only get vague impersonal responses from customer service. I haven’t a clue what is going on. No happy and will think twice before ordering again

I don't understand why the rating is so low. I bought a pair of Brinker and Eliza earrings on Sunday,on Friday the package had already arrived (Monday was a holiday). Free and fast shipping. I found it convenient that the shop takes care of customs fees.

Read exchange policy before ordering

I ordered a pair of jeans. Having read all the reviews before ordering, I ordered one size up.But alas when they arrived they were still too small. So in order to get the next size up, I would have to place a new order and send the first pair back at my own cost ($40). I also had a discount, for my orginal order, which they said they would honour if I ordered over the phone, or pay full price upfront and then request a refund.
Also a lot of back and forth emailing without any real answers to my questions, just stock answers fired straight back to me. I don’t ever leave reviews, but felt compelled to write one due to the frustrating experience I had. Only order from them if you know you will keep the order unless you are prepared to pay extortionate return fees!
Follow up, after writing my 10th email, I finally got an appropriate response, even though they seemed to think I ordered sneakers rather than jeans and they assumed I had just ordered my usual size, which I did not (I already ordered a size up), and I had explained this in several emails. They said they would refund the return charge, which seems reasonable. So I have amended my review still a hassle though. The styles they offer are nice though, and you can’t get them everywhere, just be relatively sure of sizing before ordering.

In the email customer service stated :"I will be happy to waive the DHL return cost" and
" I haveplaced a $25.00 USD gift certificate in your Shopbop | East Dane account for you to use in the future."
However, none of the statements turned out to be true.
In addition an item from my order was never delivered!
Shopbop just won the title of The Worst Online Shopping Experience.

My item was delivered today and it was as I expected. I just can’t give 5 stars since the costumers service is still really bad,they give vague answers and don’t respond directly to your concerns, just copy paste their terms which I already had read. If they work on that I’ll gladly shop again with them
