Absolutely awful, truly the worst service

Reviewed on 2021-05-17T13:21:15

Absolutely awful. Had a microwave which stopped working. Organised for an engineer to visit (expensivebtw)- he turned up and replaced a part but refused to reconnect as he said we were getting power surges, We booked an electrician to check this, and after testing he said a) that this was completely untrue and b) that this is common as the engineer doesn't want to reconnect and see that his fix has failed. I reconnected it and it stopped working after 2 weeks (No blown fuses etc). If I had the time and energy, I would chase this up and try to recover my money as I think this is basically fraudulent - but I cut my losses and bought a new microwave - definitely not a Siemens one.

Booked an engineer and provided in advance make, model and serial number as per the terms and conditions. When the engineer arrived didn’t have the basic parts to complete repair. Said he would be back in 2 weeks, poor customer service. The parts were brushes which are bog standard parts. Still charged £99 call out fee, this seems to be a typical experience of others too.

siemens iQ 500 not very good iQ

Reviewed on 2021-03-31T09:50:59

About 1 year ago purchased a siemens iQ500 what a load of rubbish. It doesn't spin properly so clothes coming out soaking wet despite set on 1400 spin. Can't put too much in it or it nearly jumps around the kitchen when trying to spin. Had it professionally installed by the way. My cheaper machine which only cost me 200 works far better but use it just for work clothes from farm.

Siemens "Vario Perfect" washing machine

Reviewed on 2021-01-16T10:45:34

Bought a Siemens "Vario Perfect" washing machine 6 yrs ago. It's always been far from perfect.Worst machine I've ever owned. It has never spun very well and laundry has always needed an extra spin. In its first year the pump broke mid cycle, and the tab for overriding the door lock just snapped off - a fragile bit of plastic, not up to the job. Now it has stopped spinning altogether. I'm not bothering to get it fixed as it's a poor quality machine. It's really noisy, and it's got the most annoying insistent and repetitive beep at the end of every cycle that cant be muted. Drives us mad. I've just ordered a new Miele. I had one before this Siemens, lasted me 15 years with only one minor fault after about 10 years service. The Siemens was total rubbish, dont waste your money.

Siemens poor quality products

Bought a tumble dryer 03/05/19 paid big money then. On 21/12/20 it developed a fault that required an engineer visit. The engineer was out 23/12/20 but said he needed to order a relay, which he ordered before leaving. Almost three weeks later still waiting for the part from Siemens. This was our first Siemens product and it will be the last.

I'm pleased with the useful and convenient functions of the Siemens kitchen appliances that I purchased. The designs are pretty sleek and neat. The performance of the appliances is beyond our expectations. We haven't encountered any issues so far from the past year.

Very pleasant too, giving the impression of liking his job, and striving to deliver the highest standard of execution. Time taken, 90 Minutes.

Siemens engineer advised all appliances will fail due to quality

Reviewed on 2020-04-17T22:29:20

We had a new kitchen installed 18 months ago with all Siemens appliances. The service engineer cameout after 12 months to repair the dishwasher and advised that the washer dryer would go next followed by the interstates fridge freezer and Oven. It’s not occurred in that order as the oven has now failed but sure enough one by one . Please don’t buy this poor poor product.
