Swanson uses Bait-and-Switch to get you in. This happens almost every single time for me in recent months.I add items to my cart that state they are "such and such" percentage off. Then when you go to checkout, the discount has miraculously switched to a lower percentage than what it was originally showing. Another problem I consistently have is the FREE Shipping deals for $35+ orders. I could have an order in the $40+ range and a shipping charge is still added. They have gone so far downhill in the past few years. Buyer Beware!

Horrible company+ sick of Tiffany’s excuses

I had a bad experience with them a few years ago, disputed the charge for merchandise not received,and received a refund from PayPal. A few weeks ago I placed an order with them and received a confirmation email. So I emailed them to ask where the shipment was, and they said they are putting the order on hold and I can’t order with them until I PAY FOR the disputed charge from several years ago!!! This company is beyond awful. ****edit to Tiffany’s reply****** There was a problem with the original order that Swanson would not resolve, thus having to go through the bank.

Just ordered from Swansonvitamins for the first time. I was a little hesitant after looking at the reviews on this site.The prices for my herbal tea was half of what I was paying at my other vitamin store. I went ahead and ordered three boxes of herbal tea, organic b12 spray, sorghum flour and psyllium husk veg. caps. The order was shipped promptly and arrived right on time. I examined the products and the expiration dates were all for next year or the following. I forgot to mention that I used a code they had which gave me 0.99 cent shipping. I will definitely be ordering again from this company and didn't have any or the bad experiences that people have posted about them.

Use Swansonvitamins at your own risk. I placed an order from their ebay store and they canceled my order the next day.I called them up and they said my paypal or credit card was no good which was a shock to me since I have a high credit rating. They wanted another card or paypal account. What scammers!! I went through the paypal resolution process and they never responded. Don't waste you time getting ripped off by this company go somewhere else. Update after reply from Tiffany on 3/22. I did talk to customer service, talked to jennifer she was the one that wanted another credit card or paypal account. My credit card company found swansonvitamins in the wrong and my cc company got my money back. Look at all the negative reviews go on ebay and look at all the negative reviews. Lies on top of lies wont fix swansonvitamins find someone that knows how to run a company. I will never use your company again and will suggest to others not to use them either.

This seller is SHADY. It offers 20% off your first order, but doesn't disclose that the discount isn't available on sale items.I spent an hour filling my cart with sale items, then signed up for the newsletter to get the discount, only to discover that my order would be about $20 cheaper by NOT using the discount. ALSO, although my order was shipped on the day I placed it, it's still not here, three days later, from two states away, because Swanson uses UPS, which couldn't deliver its own self out of a wet paper sack. I only just now today got a location (Sharonville, OH, as of yesterday – they can't say where it is TODAY.) Peruse through the MULTITUDE of 1-star reviews here, and notice how many times the "customer service" lackey says, "Oh, your order must've been lost in transit." By the percentages shown here, about 85 percent of their orders are apparently lost in transit. NEVER AGAIN.
