The definition of woke media

Reviewed on 2021-02-08T02:22:25

The definition of woke media, look to inject social commentary on literally any topic, bring in writers who's entire focus seems to be identity politics. Editor is so egotistical im surprised the website hasn't changed to Patel.com, their podcast is just a start to finish ego stroke for himself where be finds the needs to gloat constantly. Completely bias coverage which they believe is okay as long as they disclose their owners or where their partners work etc. The actual tech journalism is lazy and one dimensional, using writers with no expertise in the field they are writing for, anything pc tech or gaming related is a joke at best, phone reviewers always end up being a camera review, every iPhone review shows they are Apple fans and bias as bell. Its almost a running joke that every iPhone gets the same high score. They review products in an unrealistic way like a normal person just has all these products so can use X smart speaker for this, Y smart speaker for that all in same house. Can't wait for this type of media site to end.

This company can't make heads or tails…

Reviewed on 2021-01-28T16:23:59

This company can't make heads or tails of launch sector news. They clearly haven't read the FCC filings,or even properly studied the articles they're using as sources, because otherwise they wouldn't criticize SpaceX's change to a lower orbit as potentially less self cleaning. They'd also be informed that all Starlink satellites are now equipped with a parasol for reducing albedo. In general the Verge is a poorly informed website that regurgitates tech and other news without any understanding, and often with a political slant.

Technically incompetent authors and poor editing

Technically incompetent authors showing incorrect guides. Article authors and editors are completely ignorant regarding technology and write incorrect conclusions and recommendations.Aggressively opposed to feedback, and militantly refuse to admit their mistakes in the face of overwhelming, objective, evidence to the contrary.
