Worst company I ever dealt with I order a TomTom supreme so when I got the merchandise has a sheet ofpaper with a Phone number for customer service 866-486-6866 and call with in the hour 8:30 am to 7pm So I called like all day and every time it ring And automatically goes to busy signal And I found another number on line and it did the same thing. So I had a hard time finding an email. Finally founded so I try to create an account Fill all info and then clicked and no response Nothing happened. If anyone sees this do not buy this product You can review all the unsatisfied people . Is like 85% Terrible company just interested in making a Profit . Never service ?? the?? customer. A totally bad experience.?????

From the day we received our GO620 we have had nothing but problems - we were supposed to have been sent some extra device to plug into the vehicles data system but never saw that surprise surprise.Customer service (which is completely non descriptive) were simply rude when contacted about it. - rarely do we get a connection on the traffic service. Spent so many hours trying its scary and not worth the effort. Plus it has been the cause for numerous scenes of stress within the vehicle between loved ones. - Updates are a nightmare,they take forever, often not completed by the following day, or better still tell you you have no map when you get into the vehicle after update has been completed. - When using the device there's usually a problem with one of the interfaces, either the touch screen won't work (this is the most common) or the verbal instruction won't work. - You can't verbally instruct a post code. - You can't ask for common places such as Premier Inn, you have to look up street address on google first. It can't find nearest McDonalds you have to go to google first (something that pretty much all Garmins can do). - Often I will have driven 5 miles before its caught up with what's going on, and that's on the good days - on the bad days it just stays hung-up- Good news is it comes back with everything working the next day. This does not appear to be anything to do with loose connections internally. - Regularly we will be driving along and soundly we get a blue screen and find its turning itself off and restarting - very slowly. - getting tomtom to reroute because of a blocked road is a nightmare. -there are going to be numerous other issues but I don't want to be too negative. - should have mentioned when we first contacted customer service we spent hours going round in circles, but one of the reps did mention that there was an issue with traffic connections but that it would be sorted in an update in the near future; I can't remember how many years ago that was. - Come across many roads that they have too high a speed for. One dual carriageway I received a ticket for 48 mph (sneaky Welsh police). I thought it was a 50 (it had been for all my life) so did TomTom (not just then but for over 12 months after - & probably still does). The good news is its great when it works and you have had an hour the night before to plan a route, and by some bit of luck you turn the tomtom on in the morning it connects and doesn't tell you you need to update yet again. And then even more amazingly stays connected to traffic and advises you of a faster route whilst travelling. Wow it actually does do what is says on the sales garbage - but that's so rare, it deserves celebrating on those occasions. Thank goodness for android phones and google, they allow you to navigate to a destination so easily these days - too bad TomTom can't do it in a consistent way like it to, and without a 5 minute sit in the vehicle entering the required info because TomTom didn't want to pay Google for their navigation knowledge. BUT - we bought the tomtom to navigate us to where we needed to travel to, to advise on speed limits and safety cameras, and to ensure we are on the fastest route, consistently. This has not happened. I can't understand how a business like this is still surviving - I think they are a bunch of scammers

I own a Tom Tom Start 52 and it is the biggest pile of poo I have ever owned. I've sent it back for repair at least 5 times,to Moldavia! They never find anything wrong and return it. Bull. It won't start, it won't stay on, its battery is always flat, its a 100% terrible product. And the customer service is the worst I've ever had to deal with. I hate Tom Tom.

I am disappointed and irritated. On May 5th after many years I upgraded my tom tom xl. I tried it within a radius of 25 km and did not give any problems,except for the coshot highway - ValleMosso in operation for over 18 years it was not recognized. Yesterday I had to go up to Colico Nazionale 190 (which does not result from the maps) in the province of Lecco, following for choice toll roads. The message appears: "Waiting for valid GPS signal". Moral: I left at 11:00; - From Borgomanero (Novara) onwards Tom Tom is like blocked, extreme difficulty to be able to reach the established location. From the nervous by force to remove and put the navigator from the front glass of my car I broke the suction cup support; - I arrived beyond 4:00 pm 2 hours after the set time of the appointment. I warned of what had happened to me and I avoid you to repeat what was told to have not respected the time. (The company owner lives over 20 km from the office. I managed to return home after 21:00. From the nervous if I had not updated the maps it probably wouldn't have happened nothing. Trusting, I made a bad choice - an inefficient service and I find myself with an unusable appliance. The choice not to give any support (partial update) to your products gets the effect of market loss. I saw the many negative reviews. I regret buying the navigator. Correct consider to return to the situation prior to updating May 5 last last, for mutual commitments deriving from the unique code kgmncdxjqmpxaqu. Since yesterday the appliance no longer works and "waiting for a valid GPS signal".

So purchased tom tom xl premium then i get an email saying i have to pay for maps when it supposed befree and as i understand the puece of rubbish supposed to have a sim inside so you dont use your own data complete load of runbish it wont update unless connected to your phone do not use this piece of rubbish company customer service is a pile if crap just automated emails save your money guys im sending this rubbish back

First a word of warning do not delete your old device before trying to install a new one.I recently purchased a TomTom Go Discover to replace my old Start 25. I have been trying to set it up for over a week, today I am logged out of my account because of multiple log in attempts it will not connect to computer, I know its a wifi device but I want to see it in my devices list. wifi and blue tooth took endless attempts to connect.The customer support pages on website just go round in circles with multiple resets etc Update all issues resolved TomTom advisor Megha Gupta was patient and pleasant to deal with

i had tomtom truck 5150.it was ace...it became unresponsive...i upgraded to tomtom GO pro 6200(crap compared to 5150)at the best part of £400 . now that also is slowing down. i believe tomtom design thier products to fail , my advice is to avoid as if plague...they wont get another penny from me

Customer service is zero, no phone service any more. You can try live chat but can not always get anagent and when you do they do not understand your problem. You are expected to watch videos on how to repair your device or resort to a forum full of wanna be techies telling you to reset the device and other basic simple stuff. I have purchased 2 brand new 6250 truck navs in the past 2 months and both have not worked correct out of the box, TomTom asked me do I want to send them back for repair, Do I want to send a brand new £400 device back for repair are they mad. I have use there devices for years but they have gone down recently just churning devices out with no QC and then expect the buyer to try to repiar them or send back for them to fix. The live services are always going offline, speed cameras are always going offline even there latest devices are still using the 2G network and there very latest new model comes minus a sim so has to be connected to your phone.
