It's like a bunch of crackheads work here how do u own a company and u dont have back up systems for when your website is down but its usually down every Sunday to because no one there wants to work,they obviously didn't care that we drove 5 hrs for literally nothing and u would think they'd have papers printed out when u make the reservation like any other moveing company would, but no they keep everything on there website that is always down so when u make a reservation make sure u don't have to drive far to pick up because u may drive 5 hrs for literally a wasted trip.i have used uhaul before and have always always always ended up with more problems then I need, thanks uhaul for being extremely useless

U haul is not reputable.!#! One of their trucks tore up my fence a yr and a half ago. Talked and emailed some.So-Called INS rep named Sharon Williams .I did everything she asked and all she did was give me the runaround and excuses.!! I provided a $900.00 estimate to repair/replace my fence but nothing was ever done.!! I fully intend to tell the world the story of this SHARON WILLIAMS !! SHES OBVIOUSLY PAID TO DENY CLAIMS !!

I had to call three times to get a quote. The lady was from the states and had no clue about anything and would not give me a quote untill I gave her my credit card.So I hung up. Then I called back and got a very rude man. So I called back again and got a quote but the guy hung up on me. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. I will never be a calling back again. 1 800 468 4285 absolutely the worst number to call. Lowe's is cheaper and much better customer service!!! Good BYE!!!

Never trust uhaul to provide the truck you reserved. Twice I was told, "just because uhaul makes a reservation,it doesn't mean we'll have the truck for you at that time, you may have to travel many miles to get the truck". Happened to me, and ruined my move time and greatly inconvienenced me. Wrote to them and they never wrote back except to say my case will be resolved soon. That was 3 weeks ago. Stay away from them. Their trucks are dirty, stinky, and mine had a cracked windshield.

I have rented several U-Hauls from this specific location especially this past year.I have never come across a more rude employee in my life. His name is Cody and he’s on a power trip. When I came in he demanded immediately that I either put on a mask for leave. That is not how you handle a customer ever. You don’t start with an ultimatum. I explain to him that I did not have a mask and that I couldn’t wear one. That I am mask exempt. He stated to either put on a mask or leave. Told me that they were masks at the door I went and grabbed a mask and proceeded to explain to him that the ADA American disability act protects customers and employees from discrimination. I asked him what accommodations do you have for individuals that cannot wear a mask he gave me no options. Told me to either put on a mask or leave and if I didn’t put on a mask he was going to call the police. So I called customer service I explain the situation that I had. U-Haul customer service completely disagreed with how he was handling the situation and called him. They told him that he had other options on how to treat me including doing a 24 seven pick up which he did not offer to me. While I was explaining the situation to customer service he continued to tell me to leave the store and if I didn’t he was going to call the police so I explained it again to customer service what he was continuing to do. Customer service explained me that I was absolutely correct about ADA And I stated to them that I wanted an apology from him and I wanted training done to explain to the employees what ADA is and how to handle it. As well as teaching people how to handle HIPAA which is our privacy rights. There is nothing stating on the door that if you are mask exempt that you need to have a card to prove this. They made know accommodations for an individual who cannot wear a mask despite being told by customer service that they needed to. He proceeded to call the cops 3 police officers showed up they told me I was not being removed from the property for not wearing a mask but just simply because it was private property and I was not welcome. My son went in to try to rent the same vehicle with a mask on and was denied the right to rent a vehicle. This was never about a mask this was about someone abusing their power. I have gone into this location several times this past year and was never told to put on a mask never treated this way by anyone but this individual named Cody. When I asked the other employee that came in Cody told him what his answer should be he was not allowed to give his own answer. Cody is not a manager he is not a supervisor of any kind. He should be fired for discrimination and his crappy customer service. While I was there there was another gentleman there who had been waiting for an hour and had no choice but to get on the phone with customer service over the issue he was having. He was also pissed off at Cody for poor treatment. I was told by customer service that I would receive a response from management within 72 hours. This will be reported to ADA and if nothing is done I will continue to press the issue. There is no way that any employee should be allowed to treat customers this way especially when there’s other options calling the police should be the absolute last resort and it is completely unacceptable to laugh about calling the police. After Cody started being rude I began to record what was happening so that I would have proof. Despite them having a 72 hr response mandate i did not hear back until it has been over a week since this took place. I was met with a pathetic apology. By the president of marketing. Why is anyone in marketing handling a civil rights issue?

I recently rented a truck from Uhaul. The Illinois Tollway Inadvertently charged both my I pass and u haul for two of the tolls I went through.I was able to get documentation from the tollway that the tolls had already been paid but Uhaul reused to refund me my money they charged to my credit card without authorization. I spent hours trying to get anyone on the phone with Uhaul, never received one return phone call that they promised they blamed it on a personel shortage. there was no personnel shortage for renting the truck! beware of this company when you need customer service there is none!
