The Ads prevent timely information flow

Reviewed on 2021-04-04T15:33:17

I work in emergency preparedness and planning. When stuff hits the fan the website dumps popup ads.Attempts to use an adblocker result in inability to gather necessary information. We now use Dark Sky and Weather Underground because they understand the importance of accurate and timely, uninterrupted information.

The person that owns the weather channel is Byron Allen, Founder, chairman & CEO of Allen Media Group,a California-based media group that owns The Weather . Allen and the other Black owners penned a full-page open letter to Barra that ran as an advertisement initially in Sunday's Detroit Free Press calling her racist for years of refusing to meet with them. This guy is demanding that the CEO of GM do business with him or suffer the Consequences! Calling her a racist! This is the very type of people/ business that we want to avoid. This was a good old fashion shake down right out in the open. As it stands today, CEO Mary Barra from GM has not caved in to there demands. People please don’t give these people your business. Read it for yourself if you want at the Detroit free press 3/28/21. With a owner like this of the weather channel, don’t expect great things here .

I've been watching the weather channel for years. And here lately you are getting into politics a little to much.Cutting comments, and making your own little comments. You are overwhelmed by ads

You are overwhelmed by ads. They want you to pay to have them removed. Shouldn't the site be ad free because of the nature of the site.I wonder if there is a warning in my area and i cant see where it is because the ads are covering up. Very disappointed.

Just a sad decade for Media.

Reviewed on 2021-03-26T18:12:45

Can we say censorship? You want to interview a pastor then cut his interview when you don’t agree with part of his statement. On March 26th 2021 you interviewed a pastor. He was giving his perspective on how the natural disaster was bringing his community together. You chose to cut off what I can only imagine his last 3 word would have been “all God’s children.” Social media and national news keeps censoring and driving a wedge in this nation. I can only hope one day the error of your ways are seen by all for what they are. I would also prefer to see people that actually know what they are talking about. The terminology for anything outside of the script is comical. If you want to report on the structure of a home or repair process please know what you are talking about.

I normally don’t write reviews im frustrated with their predictions don’t trust the weather channel.don’t look at their predictions most of the times 90% of the time are wrong, look at the radar and even the radar they don’t seem to give you most of the details so that they can actually get it for you and then you come to find out that nothing of what they said was right or the radar for one wasn’t right either, I have it installed on my phone I think I will delete it here pretty soon, I don’t know about the other weather channels they’ve also let me down, just look up at the sky and make your own predictions, if it looks like its going to rain then its going to rain. period.
