NEVER, NEVER SUBSCRIBE TO XING PREMIUM. Subscription renewal is robbery. Please, be careful with Premium options,as they charged you a lot, and you need to unsubscribe 3 weeks in advance while other transparent platforms allow you to unsubscribe one day before, and everything is fine. Be careful, please! Avoid using Xing, no benefit whatsoever !!!

SCAM - unfortunately I didn't read these reviews before trialing their ProBusiness product.I cancelled the ProBusiness during the trail as I didn't see it as beneficial but it also signs you up to another membership in the process which you must cancel as well. At no point was this clear. They are trying to force me into paying that now and threatening debt collecting agencies. I cancelled the membership I signed up for. Avoid XING at all costs, this is clearly a failing business trying to get any money possible in a very sneaky way. Abysmal

If there was a no stars rating, I'd give Xing that. Xing's customer service is appalling,they will auto-renew your account and threaten legal action if you don't pay. It's not a scam but it almost could be. Smart lawyers mean their business is on the right side of the law but ethically questionable. If you're used to the US, customer centric way of doing business you're in for a surprise. Do not expect an ounce of empathy from anyone working at Xing. Their sales people will stuff you and then squeeze as much cash as they possibly can from you. In today's world of ESG and greater governance Xing feels like a dinosaur waiting to go extinct. In fact I'd feel glad if that happened. Do not support this company. Vote with your cash and buy other products. Stepstone and Linkedin are far better on all fronts. Do not use Xing.

Scam XING they use shady subscription to ensure their revenue model they do not send any reminder charge on speed very poor customer people are paid to say good things about them but they are fraud!!Please stay away from the bad company XING!! Very hard to cancel the service on the platform English support is equal to zero. No respect for GDPR privacy rules sends tons of emails that grab your data without consent on their platform. Premium user experience very poor and the services also not recommended they are racist when come's to spoken other languages the truth will come out! Atten. keep your email records even if you are not using the services can charge, be very careful call authorities if see abusive behavior. The trick used on subscriptions is that not using the tick box for other services they bulk add-ons which is not in accord with the law, know your rights!!! We are not so dumb as they describe their paid people!! Also if you are living in the EU can request a refund after 14 days if the service subscription model was not as described try to be a good citizen, not a good consumer. Always be inform half-true usually using by XING!! Inside this platform have encounter hate speech, COVID-19 conspiracy theories, etc...A BAD true experience. The puritans at XING forget to mention: inactive users, fake profiles, no accessibility policies & tools for persons with disabilities, no sustainability policies, no data form request for deletion, the list could go on with their nonconformity with the rule of law.

I have been using XING for a little more than 12 years and have never had such experiences.I have always ensured that I read the agreements I accept and anytime I had questions or concerns, XING always assisted me. I see a lot of bad review here which is a shame, but let's face it, automatic renewals without a reminder is XING's business model. This is how alot of company run, including mobile and gym contracts. This is clearly outlined in their terms that each of us have agreed to have read and understood. The majority of complaints you find in the internet cannot be trusted as the majority of the time (we) the customer are at fault for not reading information presented to us as we are always in a hurry to buy... With that being said it is us, the user who is responsible for cancelling our agreements with any provider and ensuring that we meet the requirements of the provider. For those of you who cannot read or are just too dumb to understand and to admit your own faults, it is clearly states in their terms the following: Premium membership 7.3 Premium membership shall run for the initial term selected by the user during the upgrade process. After this term, the Premium membership will be renewed by a term of the same length as the initial term, unless terminated in due time by the user or XING. The user and XING may each terminate Premium membership without cause to the end of the initial term selected by the user during registration process, or to the end of any renewal period after said minimum term expires, by serving notice of three (3) weeks via the contact form, letter, fax or e-mail. If Premium membership has been terminated, the user is entitled to retain free membership until this membership is terminated, meaning that the additional and advanced Premium membership features will no longer be available. I have no reason to believe that XING would ever charge a user or force them to pay if they have cancelled the agreement on time. Thank you XING for keeping my happy and I am sorry you have to deal with such behavior from society. All the best!

SCAM premium service. I paid for the premium, then done with it so I deactivated my account.Four months later, I get a letter from debitor.de claiming that I should pay 120 EUR for them as a collection fee for a service of 30 EUR that I didn't ask or use. I contacted the customer_care at xing.com, and I was told to pay it anyway and that no one will ever respond further about this. "we ask for your understanding that we will not answer any further messages in relation to this collection claim."
