Be aware!!! To use this site you have to give them payment information. If you forget to cancel during 7 day free periode,you are stuck to a contract for a year. Scam like site. Be careful!!!!

I wrote to thank for the great service I had regarding my problem (payment in the end of trial). Jayvee,the support guy, understood my problem very well (even in Portuguese) and helped me to reimburse a service that I would not use, and - aggravated by the pandemic times - I would not have money to pay.
I've been using Yousician for a few years now, for guitar and now keyboard. I've always been happy using it. My two biggest reasons for frustration with the platform are the 30-second pauses for non-paying users (this has not been the case since the last update) and the software's insistence on making some notes wrong even if played correctly several times. I believe that the service has improved a lot since 2015, and I continue to learn a lot whenever I can. So these are small details that do not compromise all the learning that I continue to have with the application.
I hope that the platform can include other languages, such as Portuguese, and thus expand the range of genres and rhythms. And also include this in the currency for payment, mainly because it is a service that can be expensive in some countries.

Contract not made clear

Downloaded this app and signed up for the trial which was advertised as monthly payments following the trial period (£10.99 which I was happy to pay if I was still making use of this app).Used it for about a month to get off the mark learning ukulele but didn't really like the song selection and to be honest a few months on and learning mostly outside of yousician I have pretty much mastered the ukelele (im already a guitarist of almost 20 years).
I cancelled my subscription about a week ago only to find today that on my Internet banking app I have another pending payment to yousician of £10.99 (the monthly subscription cost). Checking the yousician website I see "Canceled renewal, Premium+ available until Mar 02, 2022" and suggests I agreed to a 12 month contract?
I've never been "caught out" by anything like this in the past and am always careful so the fact that this is actually a contract means to me the sign up process is not clear (or not as clear as it should be in my opinion). Researching online this appears to be a common occurance with this company going back years.
Surely if you were seeing so many people accidentally sign up to your company for a yearly contract instead of a monthly rolling contract and receiving multiple complaints and/or queries about it you would change the sign up process so that it is CRYSTAL clear this is a 12 month contract?
I'm now currently paying for something that although I got some initial use out of and found helpful at first I literally can't learn anything more from and don't have any further use for. Research online suggests yousician don't entertain fixing this for its customers either from what I can tell. Shame because the app itself is pretty good and I can how useful it could be for beginner / intermediate musicians.
EDIT: Updating my rating to 3 stars as Yousician have contacted me to let me know they have now terminated my subscription and refunded me the last payment of £10.99. Nice of them to resolve and they were very prompt in doing so but still maintain sign up process should be clearer.

I decided to start guitar playing again after nearly a 50 year absence. I am 72 now.I tried a few other tutors online and eventually settled for Yousician premium+.I have used it for a few weeks now and although progress is slow I find the method of teaching very easy to follow. I will never be Eric Clapton as my fingers have mind's of their own but am enjoying the process. My only slight complaint would be that the program seems very biased towards USA music with a lot of songs etc not familiar to me. Thanks for your excellent customer support and very swift reply.

Reinstalling Issues

I uninstalled my Yousician app,on my Laptop PC,So I could reinstall it hoping it would help with some freezing issues I was having,I Had trouble getting it reinstalled,I emailed support and they were very fast in assigning Roger to my case,He emailed me back great information as to helping me get my Yousician app reinstalled..App is working wonderful now!

Its so great!
I am a beginner, and I can see what notes to play and what fingers to use without sightreading (its optional and want to learn it when I improve or choose to leave it)
I could never get very far with other programs that have the falling blocks or sheet music and video tutorials, witch are hard to figure out exactly witch notes/fingers to play.
I love the practice mode where I can slow down the song.
And because it looks and feels like a game, with the point system and sound FX it makes me to want to keep playing.
The backing tracks sound amazing.
