Don't get insurance from AAA. Almost 100% of our neighbors within radius of 2 miles where hail storm hit last year (2020)got their roofs replaced. They hired their best to discount our damages to within our policy deductible (2K) while roof engineers we hired totaled our roof from the storm. Online service was also shabby besides the worst customer service and claim service...

Tow truck driver question my plan make sure I have the right one for him to take me

Well I needed a roadside assistance in Boynton Beach fl at 8:15 this morning a driver showed up gaveme a little hassle want to know what plan I have and wanted to make sure I had the right plan for him to take me 11 miles that's unbelievable a tow truck driver, when all he should have ask for where's my driver's license and then he couldn't find my location and he's blaming me. This was the first time I didn't tip a tow truck driver too many questions and doubting me like I was stealing a tow. I have been with AAA maybe seven to 10 years not sure

The people who answer the phones here in Socal area are very rude and unhelpful. They never have a clear answer for you,this is the second day in a row that i’ve waiting over 3 hours to get a tow, yesterday the tow company completely list our ticket said they had no record of aaa requesting a tow from them for us and made me wait 3 hours with no communication. Today I was clearly expressing frustration that no one even updates me and I have to call in 4 times just to get some kind of update over and over, she gets a major attitude with me. If you’re this backed up you clearly need more tow trucks instead of just leaving your customers high and dry, do not sign up with this company. My grandpa was an avid aaa user for many years, and they were always great, now they’re just jerks with endless excuses and terrible service. STEAR CLEAR! Oh and Leah in LA has a terrible attitude!

AAA: Don’t expect to get what you pay for

I have been a member for 3 years and only this month did I need AAA. What a horrible experience!First I waited for almost an hour. I had problem in Newton, MA, not any remote corner of the state. This being said, it is just insane to take so long to reach me on a Tuesday, after 9am. After a 1-hour wait they sent a driver named Nicholas, who said he could not drive my car to the dealer (even though the dealer is just about 16 miles away from where I am and I pay AAA for 100 miles free towing!). He said he could just send me to the garage recommended in his system, located in Newton a couple of miles from where my car had the problem, and that if I wanted to take it to the dealer I would have to start the request again with AAA. I called the road assistance again and start it over, but so far, I have been waiting for another one hour and fifty q minutes. They have not sent anyone yet. I called a few times in an attempt to know the status of my assistance. After saying a few times that they cannot precise, nor have an idea, this guy called me back from AAA saying they cannot precise when the assistance will come because they are in Newton (where I am), driving a car to Canton (farther from here than my dealer!), and only then will they be able to come back to Newton to assist me. If you need them, be ready to many apologies, barely no information and an insane delay to get the towing you have paid for.

Do not join AAA! Horrible service!! Even after writing a letter to my local office I never received an answer to my question.Why does AAA insurance require one to purchase roadside assistance just to have an auto insurance policy with AAA? It's simply EXTORTION. After cancelling my auto policy I never received a refund for my unused portion of my membership. What a racket!

I have been a member of AAA for over 20 years and my whole family are insured by them.I have never had an issue with them until recently, I was involved in a car accident ( some jerk ran a red light) I was on hold at the scene of my accident for 40 minutes bawling my eyes out and freaking out. The police had to call a tow truck driver for me. I filed a claim and was assigned “Shay” as my adjuster. I called first thing Monday to touch base with her and to change the location of the repair shop. My first impression of her answering my call was that she seemed bored and annoyed by my phone call. She sounded annoyed by my questions, then she stopped responding to my phone calls. There was an issue with the repair shop that I chose and instead of trying to deal with them, I had to personally call the auto shop and clear up the confusion, then Shay tried telling me that the auto shop was not AAA approved even though I’ve used them in the past. This whole ordeal has been stressful and this whole back and forth making me deal with the auto shop in ridiculous. I pay them monthly for this. Then, she tried blaming the auto shop for “dropping the ball” when in fact it was her unprofessionalism that got everything all distorted and confused. I tried calling her manager Gina, she was no help either! She didn’t answer any of the calls I made to her nor respond to any voicemails I left. This is the “wonderful service” you receive by using AAA. I don’t recommend them ever! I will be changing my insurance company and as will my family after this whole mess is sorted out. They have really gone downhill, customers don’t matter anymore.

My husband and I have been PLUS members for 5 years. On May 3rd 2021 we were stranded on the highway road side in New Mexico.I called AAA for assistance and was on a "high call volume" hold for 35 minutes when I called another number. She called also and was on hold for 63 minutes when disconnected. My husband emptied our trailer on the highway and took our trike out and went for help and gas himself in the rain storm. No help from AAA. No compensation on return home either. Don't waste your money on the road service. called our home office when stranded also and they couldn't help.

Numerous phone calls because person was dropped from my plan. I was then charged another fee.
ToldEVERYTHING was fixed.
Daughter needed tow.
Told NO CARD!!!!!÷÷
I then call back after the three hours that it took to get everything straightened out put on hold no one came back to phone call place again on hold again daughter outside waiting 4 hours!!!!!!!!!!
Representative told me she was placing me on hold not only did she not come back but came back online I'm saying hello hello next thing I know I was hung up on!!!!!!!!!
Cost me almost $50 to send an Uber to pick up my daughter the one complaint that I have about AAA is you all will leave women women and children single women stuck in middle of nowhere with "unfortunately, we cant help you if you cant pay for your tow".
To leave a woman, by herself, or with her children with NO HELP is inconceivable to me.
Because they ran out of tows?????!!!!!
Ive been trying, TO NO AVAIL, to have AAA put back my two cancelled TOW calls.
MY mother fell dead in her house August 25th.
Roadside Assist asked me for specific dates of the cancelled calls.
This woman begins reading me dates I continue to tell her "ma'am I cannot remember that time was a crazy time it's still a bit crazy for us as a family"
Flippant reply was "If you cant remember the dates then I CANT HELP YOU"
She then puts me on hold---- 45 min!!!!!
Comes back on phone, I'm saying "hello, hello", she hangs up on me!!!!!
I then remembered WHY WE STOPPED USING AAA!!!!!!
Case in point day after Christmas the 26th I Tire bushing cracks tire falls off car on Highway needed immediate help was told did not have any toes when I knew I had two left only to find out they had never been credited and was asked don't you have a relative or a friend that you could call to pay the tow fee I was floored!!!!!!$ thank goodness my aunt was in town and she paid the $90 to tow my car a mile and a half, un-freakin'-believable!!!!!!!
A gentleman called this morning THANK YOU and KUDOS ON THE FOLLOW-UP,( didnt help daughter standing for 4 hrs), of the 3 1/2 hour phone call.
Thank SIMONE for her help.
Those two are remarkable.
As for everything else I WILL BE DROPPING YOU AS SOON AS I FIND ANOTHER RELIABLE CAR SERVICE THAT HAS A 'HEART'.
