Ordered an item from a pharmacy in the county on a 17thMonday then 19thWednesday afternoon around2pm I emailed the pharmacy how long will it take to be delivered the parcel to Dublin and got a quick reply that it is still in the Dublin sort office. I was off from work and at home all day on the Wednesday and Thursday and no one rang my door bell on those days. Then yesterday I found a "missed note" that my parcel needs to be collected in Gleanageary was dated 19/05. It says attempted delivery was made, I doubt there was never an attempted delivery on that. Hope my parcel will still be available this Monday.read more

I bought an item from Amazon, paid for express delivery. I tracked it from UK to Ireland May 19 to 20.An Post took over the delivery, I got I am sorry I missed you in my mailbox on the 22nd. Coronavirus and all I am home, not working. Tried to get a redelivery but I can't recognize the handwriting of the route number a requirement to proceed. Calling An post customer service to see if with the tracking number they can help me get the route number. ... I am waiting now for 38 minutes.read more

I took money from the AIB in O'Connell Street in Dublin on the 20th of May - the money,€600 + €0.60 surcharge was debited from my account, on the 21st of May it showed as a transaction and was still pending, on the 22nd of May still pending??? An Post already took the money but a glitch in the system froze my account. I contacted "customer service" they were about as helpful as the Coronavirus. An Post is absolutely useless - avoid banking with them like the plague. I am going to withdraw the rest of my savings and close my current account. Savers beware!!!read more

I paid for next day delivery from Naas to Dalkey on Tuesday by Thursday no packet had arrived.I sought email confirmed of delivery to date, three days later no confirmation of delivery! Certainly an unsatisfactory service.read more

Awful company.
How hard is it to take item from point A to point B? Seemingly extremely difficult it would seem.
If any company insists on using An Post as the delivery company,I would not be using their company and buy elsewhere. Items never arrive, customer 'services' do not want to know and they never assume any level of responsibility.read more

Appalling - waiting for a parcel delivered. I only know it should have arrived after receiving and email from the supplier.No 'missed you' note. No contact number of the An Post website, you have you use the Botchat - how am I supposed to know that? Finally arrived at the correct webpage only to discover I need the Route Number on the 'missed you' note. Finally got a phone number to discover they are only open Monday to Friday 9-5. What a waste of space.read more
