Useless. BBB does not fo any work. They get both sides story and typically sides with the company without reading,analyzing it investigating the facts. Do not waste your time. I suggest reaching out to a state office or the office that implements policies, rules and orders for the business to abide by. Who gives them license to do the business they are in

Anyone who trusts the BBB to recommend a business needs to be aware that this organization (i.e.nonprofit and is not taxed) uses its past (very past) reputation to allow companies to purchase their A+ ratings through "membership" fees. Example: LaserShip currently has an A+ on BBB.org despite 1026 complaints in the past three years. In fact, BBB.org currently has a message at the top of their LaserShip page indicating that "due to the high volume of complaints received for this business, BBB publishes 1 out of every 10 complaints handled through our conciliation process." That should fully illustrate the "reputation" of the BBB.

Hundredsof Victims of Fields are not invited to leave reviews
Fields have their own in house social media, webmarketing and reputation management function ironically paid for from the profits made scamming victims of Fields Data Recovery St Louis Missouri USA who are owned by Fields Associates Ltd Bridgend UK
BBB like Trustpilot, Yell, Google and Yelp reviews are being gamed.
Fields offer discounts and vouchers for positive reviews and "Refunds" for removal of negative reviews.
The problem is most victims of Fields Data Recovery LLC do not know they are a victims of the #fieldsdatarecoveryscam.
This is not a new situation goes much deeper than deception, misrepresentation in order to defraud.
It pays for sector domination "Fields Group" are "Google Partners" under their company UK Digital Solutions.
Better Business Bureau should be checking that all positive reviewers have invoices from and have paid money to Fields Data Recovery LLC not the UK company Fields Associates Ltd

I have been in business for 20 years. The BBB has never interfered with my business until now.2021 the BBB has my business on their profile. ALL INCORRECT INFORMATION. When I contacted them they stated there is nothing they could do about it. I reminded them of what they claim, they state "We hold ourselves to high standards for honesty, transparency, fairness, and integrity". I was told I could become a member and could correct all this incorrect information. This is extortion. Moreover, I have learned that business that pay their membership have good ratings, those that don't have low ratings. THE BBB IS NOTHING MORE THAN SMOKE AND MIRRORS.

Took the car to Calverts Auto shop for a squealing sound, the mechanic replaced and reinstalled several parts including the belt,after not being able to identify the problem, my belt was reinstalled incorrectly and slipped off some of the pullies, luckly, we made to the hospital and back home safely before discovering it. The next day took the car to Firestone, my belt was destroyed. Even with the receipt for the new belt and installation, and pic of my perfectly, good belt, the BBB sided with Calvert's and just closed the case. THEY ARE USELESS
