my site has been down since January and every time I call they tell me it has to be escalated to amysterious level 2 support team that cant be reached by phone only by internal email the last person I spoke to no lie had a rooster crowing in the back my site has someones Spanish playlist on it so I am paying for their playlist I am very disappointed with Bluehost it used to so much better

After continuous server reports of an issue,their tech support agent never gave up and only after doing this so many times, did a gut instinct tell me it was not the hosting yet the WP theme but the Bluehost technician stayed with me and persevered. Bluehost support is actual HUMAN BEINGS. My site went down, hard. I had screwed up the DNS while trying to add Google workspace email.I looked up Bluehost support, expecting to get a bot or a link to an endless list of FAQs to search through, but I got Rica! A real live person who no doubt heard the panic in my voice and stayed on the phone - a long time - until the site was up again. My site is my business, having it crash and not knowing how to fix it was a nightmare. Thanks Rica and Bluehost for having 24/7 human support. You saved the day!

Bluehost just tried to rip me off again after closing the account numerous years ago.Just tried to take $167 bucks off my credit card in the last week. This is the second time they have attempted this. My credit card company disputed and sickos at Bluehost refunded the amount. The bluehost CEO Matt Heaton needs to investigated with these unethical practices. The local DA needs to be notified and I am going to do this. Spread the word! You've been told!

Tech support is SO bad

Tech support is SO bad I have talked to bluehost's support a few times (for hours at a time). Here,even a month after signing up, my problems are not solved, and all of the problems I have had, has not been solved or helped by bluehost. Actually it seems like their support has no idea where the problem lies, however when I have contacted support from my designer she gives me explanation on where the issue lies, just by looking at the page code front end (the issue is with the database). The last two days I have spend 4 hours on the line with the support. Issue is still not resolved, and every time I am put on hold for "2-3 minutes" to investigate "the root cause of the issue".

Bluehost owned by EIG, a profoundly evil company

Bluehost was one of the best hosting companies in the world from 2005-2009. In November 2010,Bluehost was sold to "EIG" (Endurance Group International). Search for this video on youtube, posted by a victim in Florida who happens to be a lawyer: "Endurance International Group, Bluehost, Sitelock - Scam!" EIG runs an extortion scam on small businesses across the United States who have websites hosted on Bluehost branded servers. EIG is owned by psychopaths with a U.S. support & sales call center staffed with sociopaths. Their Philippines call center operates with otherwise ordinary people who are, unfortunately, though knowingly and willingly, caught up in the extortion scheme because, like so many Filipinos, they need the money that badly. I assume that most of them only found out about EIG's Bluehost crime spree after working at the call center for a while. But count yourself lucky to avoid your first unsettling and creepy "support" call with Bluehost's U.S. call center where the scam starts, and to which the Philippines call center staff will send you back to when you try to escape the extortion scam.
