Socks are super comfortable, but unfortunately both socks tore and had holes in them after 3 wears.
Socks: Good. Underwear: Bad

Bombas socks are awesome. The women's underwear, however, is not. Definitely not worth $20.They're both too small and too large at the same time. I wasted my money on the underwear. I would say the underwear is not even as good as $7 underwear you can buy at TJ Maxx.read more

Update...Emily was very responsive and has since sent out replacements for my socks. She would get a 5.However, it took over a month to get to the point of replacement hence the 3. As far as quality of the replacements go, we'll have to see. I'll write back.read more

My husband and I received bombas for Christmas and I was excited. Mine were beautiful. Both pair were so tight on the leg part that we had to give them away. We are not overweight so I wondered if these were counterfeit. They were a thicker sock; I'm going to try the lightweight cotton. PS: customer support was great!read more
Avoid the merino wool socks
Reviewed on 2021-02-28T06:35:10
Avoid the merino wool socks! Wore them four times and the wool is completely gone from the heel.Nothing but strings. They start to pill up the first time you wear them. The wool ski & snowboard socks are so thin, you could only use them for liner if you're out in the snow. My daughter has cotton socks from Bombas that are over two years old and are still in good shape, so they know how to make a sock that will last. Unfortunately, they didn't apply those standards to their wool socks.read more

Bombas customer service is excellent. I ordered the wrong size and they immediately changed the order. The socks are a great quality but I do put them in a wash bag before placing on the machine so they don’t get twisted or stretched.read more

I love the Bombas mission as well as seeing the success story after appearing on Shark Tank. The sock quality is a totally different story. I don’t know if this is a design issue , a quality control and materials issue or a manufacturing issue. In any case , I have purchased 15+ pairs of different material types from Bombas ( wool, merino wool,
Cotton , etc) and all of them tear, rip or develop holes after a very short time ( some in less than a month ) if normal infrequent around the house use. My first issues happened with my socks purchased in 2019 . They quickly tore at the upper toe box area apparently a design flaw with the original Bombas as they weren’t stitched properly in this area. I decided to give them another chaks a few months ago and ordered their merino wool sports socks ( at $24 a pair - a price point I consider for premium sock quality only ) and these have all developed holes at the heel and ankles. No idea what they are using for material but clearly there are many issues at Bombas. I’ve emailed them numerous times to correct the issues they have a “ satisfaction guaranteed promise” which it’s hard to get a timely email response from them acknowledging they are replacing the defective socks.read more

I accidentally ordered the wrong style. I was going to just settle for the socks I got because theywere so beautifully made and so comfy but I decided to contact the company to see if I could exchange them. Not only did the Happiness Team send me the socks that I wanted free of charge but they told me to share the ones I ordered by mistake. I have NEVER received such wonderful customer service! I will tell everyone that I know what a wonderful company that Bombas is! Thank you so much!read more
