I don't know what happened Boost use to be one of the major best phone companies out there unlimiteddata was really unlimited data I use to never turn off my data and it wouldn't slow down I could be any where and I would still get the internet nowi can't even sit at home in the middle of town without getting cut and data slows down so much u can't use it WHAT PART OF UNLIMITED DON'T U UNDERSTAND!?!? why say it's unlimited data when it is not and u ask us to be honest HELLO!! BOOST USE TO BE 1 OF THE BEST NOW ITS ONE OF THE WORST EVER!! Everything else I can easily do leaving out defensive words now that was tricky especially when they said to b honest

Horrible horrible horrible customer service. Finally got an actual live agent on the phone by pressing the zero key about twenty times.Sounded like a guy all alone in a giant empty room. He transferred me to another department, and the woman there tried to give me an excuse as to why the SIM card I paid an extra $12 to be overnighted to me wasn't delivered until three days later, and right in the middle, she just boom, disconnected the call. And she nor anyone else from Boost called me back to complete the call or emailed me. SO SHADY. I don't trust this company.

I COMPLETELY agree with reviewer clang&bang. My mom had been a very happy customer of Virgin Mobilefor 14 years and unfortunately they were sold to Boost Mobile. Her phone did not have service available in many areas or they wanted to charge extra fees. So we decided to change carriers. What a NIGHTMARE!!! Put new Sim card in iPhone and I did a 3 way call with Boost, new carrier and myself to port my mom's number. Boost said it was done and would take 24 hours. The next day, iPhone did not work at all. Called new carrier and said number was ported, but phone was locked. Called Boost and they said phone could not be unlocked until we had service with them for 1 year. She had had service with Virgin for years. Told us service was transferred in Jan 2020, so 1 year was up Feb 16 2021. I called Feb 17. They said nope, had to be end of the billing month, so March 16 2021. Called March 17, rep said he would put order in and it would take 3 days. After 3 days, phone still locked. Called again, rep said that it was the weekend, they could not access any information, call back on Monday. Asked to speak to manager and they said they were the manager :) Called Monday, they said ticket is sent to a different department, the other department has to approve and then sends ticket to another department to be unlocked and that is when it takes 3 days - and rep on the 17th had just opened the ticket and it was still in department for approval. I recorded that conversation. Wish I would have thought about that sooner. I placed 3-way call again with new carrier, Boost rep and myself. Told them I was recording call again and then I played recording. New Carrier had notes from our first call in January. I preceded to name every Boost rep I spoke to with the dates I had called. Phone was finally unlocked the next day!!!!! It took over 2 months to unlock an iPhone I had purchased outright from Walmart in 2019, while Mom was still with Virgin.

Worst customer service provider - I wonder if the Boost management knows what is going on under their nose.The online chat CSR told me not to trust the on call CSR and vise versa. When you call Boost CSR different representative will tell you different things. It's like they work for different companies not the same. I am already a customer when I changed my sim plan and call them about the international calls - the CSR told me that I will be only eligible if I get a new sim and call them again to change the sim and I will get that plan. Did that and the customer told me that in the next few hours your new sim will be activated and when you get SMS from us then change sim only. After 24 hours called them and the CSR yelled at me like I was the CSR and he was the customer - I hanged up. Called after 48 hours that what is going on and I was told that there is no activity like that going on my account. I kept on explaining things to on call CSR about the issue and she just kept saying to dial #111# on phone. It is Pathetic and unprofessionalism. On my last 2 calls they just hanged up on me and didn't even bother to call back and also there is no professionalism as I said they don't use the words like pls, sorry and thank you for calling etc. Two things here, One at the same time my cousin\my room mate went to do the same thing same time with me and they changed his sim plan at the same time with no issues and no change of sim. Second, why would we need to change the phone sim when you are already existing customer.

I had been a happy customer of Virgin Mobile for 7 years and unfortunately they were sold to Boost Mobile.I realized changes in service immediately. Not for the good. I stayed with Boost Mobile for longer than I should have. Finally I got the time to change carriers. I called into Boost to cancel service and come to find out they have locked my phone. I purchased my phone outright three years before Boost Mobile took over. It is now the 3rd business day I have not been able to use my phone. I was told that unfortunately this is something Boost Mobile does to all their customers. I believe it is a unprofessional practice and may be against the law. I recommend you find another carrier that will not treat you like a criminal. The cell service is weak and spotty at best. WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BOOST MOBILE.

Whilst porting my number to Boost for a new prepaid sim, I was told to wait 4 hours, then 24, then 72,and for 10 days I have been told ‘rest assure’ it will work in 24 hours, or someone will contact you. I have requested on three occasions to speak to management who never called back, and now I’ve been given a phone number for the care team that doesn’t work. AVOID

Boost mobile:-they have terrible cell service -they do not honor their 7-day unsatisfactory return policy.-they have dishonest store representatives and customer service. They will not give you a refund. The CSR stated to return a phone within 2 days of receiving it before they will give you, your money back, and then there's a process stock fee for the returned.
