This bank used to be good. I'll now be moving most of my assets/holdings to another online bank.ING Direct most likely given the pathetic level of Boursorama customer service. Actually, not pathetic, it is rather non-existant.

Tried to open a Boursorama bank account twice. Almost succeeded 2nd time but in contact with theBoursorama Helpdesk they were very rude and refused to help when they noticed I was not fluent in French with reference to their general conditions. Boursorama bank is chauvinist, asocial and inhumane.

I created my bank account via their app on 14 April and after the initial transfer of 50 euros into the account,my account was opened. I received a confirmation of opening of my account via email. After sometime I received a message on my phone that says "Your password has been changed and if this is not you, then contact client services." I didn't change my password. So I tried "forgot password" option but that option isn't working. I also received an email saying that my request to close the account is accepted. I didn't make any request to close my account. I haven't been able to login to my account. I have been a victim of phishing attack. My financial information and money has been stolen. They haven't done anything about it yet. Their client service is pathetic!

I have been cut off the phone. I understand my French isn't perfect, which I've apologized and asked for patience.After explaining the situation in French, the customer representative responded with a tone of impatience, which I tried to elaborate further in French. I can tell it is not a sudden cut off from losing connection, but a deliberate press the button to hang on action. This is unacceptable, I hope that person get a warning at her work soon.

Impossible to close my bank account

They were super fast to open me a bank account. Got a referal bonus and everything went quite well...until I try to close my bank account.Since I have a Bourse account (french CTO) I cannot close my bank account online. So I have to send in a physical letter or an email with extra docs. I have done that three times already and now 2 months later my bank accounts are still not closed. The worst part is that I haven't even got a response from them (even though I received an auto-response "we received your demand, we will deal with it fastest possible" email from them) since. TWO MONTHS for closing an bank account? Without a single response? Shiiiiied. AVOID! Their customer service is sooooooo BAD. I repeat, AVOID!

Stay away from this bank. They are cheap for a reason, there is absolutely no customer service.You cannot speak to anyone on the phone or via email. Everytime you need to contact them you need to fill in a form online and they don't respond. Dreadful.
