Lots of bad reviews here for Breitling so I thought I would share a positive experience.I purchased my Avenger Sea Wolf new in 2010 from Tourneau, in Caesar's Palace (Vegas baby!). I liked the rugged look of the Sea Wolf over other models. I am not a wealthy guy, so this was a huge purchase for me. Because I purchased it at Tourneau, battery changes are free. I wear the watch daily and I have never had any issues at all. I'm certain I've dropped it a couple of times but it just keeps working. After 11 years (in 2021), it stopped keeping time (the chronograph still worked). I sent the watch to Breitling (through Tourneau) to be serviced. Yes, $916 is an expensive service. However, this is the first time serving the watch in 11 years. That's pretty reasonable for a timepiece that is supposed to be serviced every 2 years. I'm very happy with my purchase and can't wait to get my watch back. It has been incredibly durable and I'm looking forward to seeing it on my wrist for many more yearst before giving it to my brother as a gift.
I would purchase another Breitling based on my experience.

I got the watch as a gift.I was wearing them for approximately five weeks totally during 3 years.Restof the time kept them in the safe.One day put them on for special occasion and after 24 hours stopped working.Have to pay 160 $ for shipping and 750 $ for fixing. Be aware Breitling is not a good brand!!!

After seeing a friend with a Breitling and liking the look of it I decided to buy a Chronoliner Breitling for £6,000 4 years ago from watches of Switzerland in Cardiff.The watch stopped working completely exactly after 4 years to the day. I contacted Breitling and was told that it needs a full service together with oiling the mechanism. The cost £620.00 which I found ridiculously high. Although they say that the watch should be serviced every two years the watch should not just break down. These are supposed to be quality swiss watches and paying £300 pa very hefty for a mediocre watch. More than a car.. They also need to be clearer on all these points on sale.
The watch continuously lost time over the four years and funny enough the bezel turned the wrong way to change the time [clockwise to go backwards] to all the other watches which is Bizarre. The explanation was that they work both ways, some clockwise some anticlockwise.
Another point was that I saw the watch on sale in Grouches of Cardiff for £4,500 only 3 month's after buying it.
I am really, really dissatisfied with the watch and do not recommend this or any of their products.

I purchased an Avenger Seawolf. Barely wore it. I wear an Omega on a daily basis. The Breitling stayed in the safe.At about 4 years, the battery died. Brought it into Breitling for service. They did an examination on the watch, and said there was a dent in the casing and the hands needed to be replaced since it’s bent. I can’t tell, so I went with their recommendation and overhauled the watch. Costed me close to a thousand, to overhaul and replace the set of hands. The watch literally went back into the safe. Two years later, I took it out of the safe, and it wasn’t running. Thought it needed a new battery. Took it to Breitling. They evaluated it and said that some crystal electric thing was out of spec., and on top of that, I had a dent in the casing and needed another set of hands, because, they were, somehow bent again. They recommended another overhaul for a grand. I paid them the $40 examination fee and took the watch to an independent Omega service center. They changed my battery, and it’s running fine. Lesson learned. No more Breitlings for me.

Poor quality Breitling Avenger II GMT

I bought my Breitling Avenger II GMT in New York on July 2016, and have took good care of the watch ever since.Then in December 2020, my 4-year old Breitling had its dial turned upside down. I took to the Breitling authorized shop, who had my watch shipped to the service center. They asked me for USD550 to repair the watch, which was broken due to poor quality. I refused the quote, and requested my watch back. I have had Baume Mercier, Oris, Tag Heuer and other brand watches, but never this quality issue with Breitling. It is ridiculous that this watch Company which advertises itself as being rugged and sports oriented has such low quality and poor reliability. Instead of paying to Breitling Service center I got myself an Apple Watch 6 - which I was hesitating to get, since I already a "luxury"watch which is actually poor quality, and requires very costly service! Beware of Breitling. It is just not worth the price.

Bought a Breitling Superocean after having lusted after one for years. It’s cost me a fortune.Beautiful watch but immediately was not keeping time at all, straight out of the box.
I arrange a repair under warranty and was pretty impressed when I was promptly sent packaging and instructions to send it to Brietling.
After having the watch for a month I get an email saying a spring has come loose causing the problem and this happens when the watch has a jolt or a shock but it is noted the watch has no marks or damage to indicate it has indeed been dropped or shocked.
This is supposed to be a diving watch for pity’s sake. I would have hoped that it could stand up to some punishment, not that mine has, I’ve barely worn it because it has not worked in the short time I’ve owned it.
I’m now in a quandary as to just get my savings back and return the watch. I wouldn’t want to shake it and damage the spring inside would I? ?
I’m now left with a expensive ornament.
My Tag Heuer Aquaracer is worn daily for all sorts of tasks and I’ve never had an issue with it. Buy one of those instead. A lot cheaper.

Watch Gaining time

Treated myself to AVENGER II SEAWOLF as I've always wanted one. 2 years and its plane sailing loving the watch.Then 16 months ago I've noticed my watch started gaining time, at first thought it was me, however after a few weeks it gained more time. So being a good company and under warranty I send it in to have it checked over they explained my watch had become magnetised ok that was something new...….. Now on my 3rd visit and basically Breitling having my watch for 12 months on and off! all I've asked them to do is fix my watch as I love it or replace it like for like as this is the 3rd time its been with them for the same issue. Then which I seem quite funny...I receive a call telling me there is actually nothing wrong with your watch and its within time parameters of gaining time !!! I would expect this of a watch I paid £50 for not off a company that prides themselves in accurate time pieces! I'm sure they would not have much business if they advertised that we have the best watched but we can't tell you the accurate time haha !! I'm now waiting for a manager...….

Bought a super avenger ll in Marina Mall, Abu Dhabi, worldwide warranty for peace of mind.Keeps perfect time even tho not been serviced for 4 years, great watch u can use every day or on special occasions, not ostentatious like some brands.
