Our more than 3,600 students can choose from more than 60 majors in three top colleges: Arts & Sciences, Engineering and the Freeman College of Management. One hundred percent of our classes are taught by our more than 350 full-time faculty, virtually all of whom hold a Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree. Our students and professors are united by a curiosity about the world, and together they push the limits of understanding through cooperative research projects, frequently leading to publication in the world's leading academic journals. Our students also find numerous opportunities to take their learning experience beyond the classroom through internships, job-shadowing experiences, independent research and study abroad. Bucknell's Center for Career Advancement helps connect students with internships and other opportunities that lead to fulfilling careers, frequently in collaboration with Bucknell's passionate alumni community of more than 50,000 living graduates. Combined with their top-notch education, these experiences are a major reason why virtually all of our students report being employed or continuing their education at top graduate schools within nine months of graduation.
