I have traveled via many airlines and have to say Etihad is the worst airline, Etihad broke my suitcase and to make it worst when I got home and opened the case it was full of water,had I known that I would have taken it up with airline at arrival. I did file a complain online listing all items water damaged costing over £800 plus the suitcase but Etihad offered merely 50 USD, which is a total insult to injury, I refuse to accept 50 USD and the Etihads response was case closed, it took almost a year for Etihad to shrug off my issues, ignorant & disgusting behavior. Etihad even ignored final communication from CAA, this says a lot about an airline who boasts about being one of top airline. Plus Etihad service on board was very poor and food was disgusting. First time and be the last time I would use Etihad.

Yes the covid epidemic took a toll on all of us. I had flights booked with Etihad which they had tocancel. initially they wouldn't offer a refund then they change their minds and gave a refund 12 months after you were suppose to fly. Now trying to get my refund 12 months later and they are making it hard as hell to get. Spoke with customer service in Australia and they gave me an email address to send my refund request to, still haven't heard from them after 2 weeks. Will never...ever be booking flights again with Etihad airways the worst service I have ever received from a supposed world class airways.....I think not, useless.

Inflexible Travel Bank policy During Covid. Zero to Etihad on that

Etihad started selling the Travel bank and 50% additional money in Travel bank in June last year which i when i purchased it.They said that this travel bank had validity for 730 days which was good under the assumption that pandemic would have ben under control by end of 2021 which we all know did not happen. I have ben chasing Etihad through emails and phones to increase the validity of the Travel bank account as 1 year has gone past and no relief. Plus Abu Dhabi had a 14 day quarantine clause active until March 2021 because of which taking a layover flight was not feasible. They have no response and policy i place as yet whereas all airlines are offering extensions to using the credit. I had always thought highly of this airline and have travelled with them many times in the past which was the reason i bought the Travel bank credits but it makes me furious that my money is going to get wasted and lapse if they do not provide the extension. Do Something Etihad. You will loose loyal customers

Had flights booked 13th March 2020 LHR to DELHI via ABU Dhabi On 11th March Indian Government revokedall tourist Visas I tried for two days to contact agent for guidance All lines were full and in meltdown I knew we would not be allowed to board as documents for final destination were not valid Round trip to Airport was 5 hours just to be told we could not travel... So i emailed agent and advised I would not be attempting to check in Also tried ringing Etihad but their lines were jammed. Agent has now refunded some money but Etihad deducted a large "no show" fee Despite promises to look into the matter I am still somewhere between £400 and £500 out of pocket. Disappointed in their action and then non action. Would not fly with them again unless they sort this out. Would even accept a voucher but nothing ! Fly with Emirates , I think they are honourable people

Worst airline I ever experienced. Cancel all economy tickets and don't give any possibility to rebook until three months later.The reason is the only offer business tickets. No thank you Etihad! Never more for me, my family and if I can discourage others I will do.

Worst customer service there is! My flight got cancelled in march 2020 because of corona so I had to book a new one to somehow come back home.The new flight was also cancelled 12 hours after booking and also 12 hours before take off. Now OVER 1 YEAR later I am still trying to get my money back. The customer service is the worst i´ve ever experienced! They just keep me waiting since one year. Every two weeks they message me back, saying that they have to wait for a different department for the informations. every time there is a new person handeling my case. They just wait until I give my money up!

Why are Etihad charging extortionate prices? Surely during this current climate they should be reducing prices to tempt people away.Every other airline is over half the price cheaper than Etihad, I just don’t get it. They don’t deserve the business due to their greed. I certainly will be booking up with a cheaper airline that’s just as good as Etihad.
