I'm surprised to see only one review so far about this company. As a small transportation companyworking to keep my business going and my employees accountable we decided to get gas cards for each of our vehicles. I had an assistant in 2019 who dealt in finding a company that would help us do the job. Due to the situation of Covid-19 last year I have lost a lot of assistant. I became the main person to make my weekly full payments on this card to which December 2020 they told me that I was a "High Risk Customer"? I make my weekly payments one week being so busy I missed a week and made the payment right away they hit me with a high risk fee. I called spoke to Austin who took it off. In March of 2021 I paid on a Sunday vs the Friday they add a late payment fee? I called and spoke to a customer service rep who removed the $101 late fee. I believed we were all set from all of that non-sense. I pay my weekly bill from then anywhere on a Tuesday to Friday before 4pm. I open my account on 4/15/2021 to pay my bill and find that my bill was high. I thought my employees were doing something out of character since I recently hired 2 drivers to help start building our business back up. Well, to my surprise I got hit with another "High Risk fee" of $590; which, my bill is only $608 for the week? Now as I am sitting here on hold and asking for a break-down to what percentage is being used to charge this $590 no one can truly come on the phone besides reciting a script to me. I can handle much bad customer service and not say anything or post anything. I have been in the industry of service customer since I was 17 yrs old. As a business owner now I understand more then ever how customer service can truly be a challenge. But, am sorry when a company decide to charge you $590 without a breakdown to how they come up with their numbers and tell you that you a bad customer that disrespectful. I never once go over my weekly limit and always pay in full my weekly charges. I requested to be on a monthly payment vs weekly due to my business schedule and handling so much without much help as I had before they declined my request, and kept me on weekly payment. This company is the only company I have this challenge with and the lack of human connection is beyond my understanding. As I request to speak to management I got transfer to a "supervisor" who pretty much spoke to me yesterday as if I was 2 yrs old. Told me I must pay and will not see that fee ever again but must pay it this time around. So why couldn't it had gone away from the start if it won't come up again? One wonders what exactly this company is doing to those who are not complaining and just paying the hefty fees they have that can disappear for ever after paying it once. I made my weekly payment today but will not pay this $590 without a clear breakdown to why??? If you are a business and want peace of mind with a credit card they are not recommended as a partnered company that understand other businesses. They only care about making sure their fees no matter or ridiculous it is are paid. I will come back with a follow-up post since they still have me on hold. Looking as if I might have to hang up because I have another call to make before 430pm EST. Please it's not worth the aggravation!!

Fuelman is HORRIBLE COMPANY GAS CARD

Absolutely horrible company gas card! This company charges so many hidden fees. There are fees to use their reporting feature,fees to have access to customer service (btw, I have been on hold in excess of 40 minutes), fees upon fees upon fees. If I am not hawking the credit card statements I would be consistently charged fees. On over 3 occasions I have had to have fees reversed. The company website was down to make my bi-weekly payment and I was charged late fees despite me calling and letting them know their system was down and I pay 1 day in advance consistently. Then because of the late fee they charge me "tier 2 pricing" which adds .30 per gallon. I am done with Fuelman! DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT get this oompany gas card...they simply have absolutely horrible customer service wait times in excess of 40-60 minutes (you have to actually pay for this feature to have access to customer service reps!) to hidden fees constantly to charging for access to a reporting system. They also change the terms of their agreement often. JUST DONE! I am beyond disgusted with this company. I believe that they will soon be sued likely class action for not properly notifying customers of fees. I will be posting my review on as many platforms as possible to warn people about this gas card. NOT WORTH IT!!!!
