My Vivosmart 4 developed a problem (although it still actually worked). It was 2 years old (so a full year out of warranty).Garmin offered to replace it straight up. I was very pleasantly surprised.
I have enjoyed using the Vivosmart for the time I've had it and look forward to many more years from this one. When it comes time to replace it, I'd definitely look at a Garmin again.

I purchased the garmin S62. I had problems with the auto shot tracker (the main reason to buy the watch)right from the beginning. I spoke to their tech support people 5 times & they could not fix it. They sent me a replacement watch, but it had the same problems. I would advise anyone thinking of buying this golf watch, to not do so. Looks like garbage to me!

Garmin sells GPS w/lifetime map updates. Now they want south of $200 for 10 years.False advertising and intentionally misleading their prospect/customers. New ones are less than 200. Don't TRUST Garmin!

My wife and I have Garmin Fenix watches, I have the 5 and my wife the 5s.
For about the last year probably longer both of our watches regularly crash while playing golf.I checked out the Garmin Forums and it seems that we are not alone on this issue.
It's only while using the golf feature that we have a problem, I can walk or hike and the watch performs as it should.
Others on the forum have had their watches replaced by Garmin but guess what the problem didn't go away.
While on the forum someone stated that disabling the Bluetooth on your phone while playing seems to work.
I've tried that and it worked for me and my wife, it just means that I don't receive any messages to my watch, not a huge issue but not ideal for what is an expensive bit of kit.
I've spent 2 days emailing Garmin Tech support who stated that my watch has a fault and needs replacing, no explanation of what the alleged fault is, however, as my watch is now out of warranty that would be at my expense. After reading the experience of others who got replacements but that didn't help I wasn't prepared to spend the money on something that is not guaranteed to work.
I would say that this is down to a software issue rather than a fault, Garmin seem unable or unwilling to come up with a fix. My advice is buy another brand, I certainly will be when my current not so smart watch finally packs in.

Poor service from tech support.
Been a long time supporter of Garmin watches and have never had a problem.The tech support team will open a case file for you but will only continue to support you by providing links to their website, repeatedly giving the same advice.
My watch has a fault which is now known on my device and there is no fix. This is admitted on their website too.
I have basically been asked to switch off all notifications to prevent the unwanted notifications from reaching me. This defeats the purpose of having a smart watch when you want to use it for notifications!!
Lack of support, lack of knowledge from the tech support team, lack of ownership of issues. But well done to Garmin for offering a two year warranty! What a fantastic offering to those of us who actually have an issue and you ignore our concerns.
How about you do the decent thing and repair issues you know about or replace the item...?
Makes me wonder whether I should stick with them for my next watch...

I ordered a tacx t2092 on 26/12/20 with a3/5 week waiting time.
End of Jan i emailed and told 5/2/21...no arrival.....emailed again,told 20/2/21...no arrival.....emailed again told 5/3/21....no arrival....emailed again,no answer then they refunded me today with no explanation....so i waited 3 months for an item that was never coming.

I have have the Garmin Forerunner 935 for a over a year and I’ve had other Garmin before this.My review on all of them is OKAY.
The downside: wrist based heart monitors are worthless. Absolute garbage. Accuracy is often off by 30-40 BPM. Screen is hard to see in bright sun.
The positive: with chest heart rate monitor the system is consistent. Lots of features if you like that.
Basically, Garmin makes an ok product. Not worth spending the money on the higher end models. Low the mid level does most everything you’ll need, whether you are a weekend jogger or a competitive triathlete.
