Canceled book by email
Canceled book by email, telephone and yet it still shipped. Spent 1/2hour with off shore customer service. Asked to escalate to manager after a wait finally talked to him who told me I could return book and then get credit! I demanded a credit and have filed a complaint with the Florida Attorney General.
Make it very difficult to cancel…
Make it very difficult to cancel subscription. Feels to be on purpose.
Fraudulent charges
I remember reading Guideposts magazine with my grandmother when I was little so for nostalgia sake I decided to order their magazine. I was charged twice in a one day period for the subscription I chose, but they charged different amounts to make it look legit. Thankfully I paid for it using PayPal and they said they’ll refund the extra charge. I definitely did not expect this from a so called Christian company. I’ll be surprised if I actually receive the magazine after this stunt they pulled.
This is a scam that preys on elderly
This is a scam that preys on elderly. Canceling is difficult and they continue to send renewal requests. Not a rather Christian thing to do beware and forewarned
Seems your organization has not learned…
Seems your organization has not learned its lesson. I sent an email to all branches of your organization to remove my mother from your mailing list on February 23,2023. I warned you what would happen if you persisted, but your organization has not listed so let me refresh your memories. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN! IT SEEMS YOUR ORGANIZATION DOES NOT SEEM TO GET THE CONCEPT OF WHAT CANCELED MEANS...MY MOTHER CANCELLED HER SUBSCRIPTION! I MYSELF CALLED AND HAD IT CANCELLED IN THE YEAR 2021 WHEN YOU SENT HER TWO LETTERS BACK-TO-BACK DEMANDING HER TO PAY YOU. ONE LETTER CAME AND WAS PAID. THEN A WEEK LATER CAME ANOTHER LETTER AND WAS PAID AGAIN. I CALLED AND DEMANDED A REFUND BE ISSUED TO MY MOTHER AND THE ACCOUNT CLOSED THE WOMAN ON THE AT YOUR ORGANIZATION SAID THE REFUND WOULD BE SENT OUT AND THE ACCOUNT WOULD BE CLOSED. NOW YOU HAVE BEEN SENDING RENEWAL LETTERS TO MY MOTHER YET AGAIN... THEY HAVE GONE INTO THE RIPPER TO BE CUT INTO SMALL ITTY-BITTY PIECES! REMOVE MY MOTHER FROM YOUR MAILING LIST OR THIS WILL GO VIRAL ACROSS THE WEB THAT YOUR ORGANIZATION IS PREYING ON THE ELDERLY... REMOVE AND CANCEL THE FOLLOWING: (mothers' information) SINCERELY, REV. LANCE E. O'CONNER I received confirmation from one of your organizations branch that her name and address was removed from your organizations mailing list yet today September 11,2023, you sent another one of your letters. (see attached image) Upon receiving your letter I wrote on the letter "Refused, return to sender and you were told to remove from mailing list in 2023". I will be sending this out across the web about the Guidepost organization trying to pull the same underhanded tactics they have done for years against the elderly. I know about the multiple complaints against your organization for pulling these underhanded tactics. Sincerely, Reverend Lance E. O'Conner-- Subscription which was cancelled in 2021 after being charged twice in a two-month period. This was done via phone. They promised a refund but never did a refund of any amount. On February 23, 2023, this Organization tried to bill again and was sent a massive email to all branches of the Organization. To CANCEL the account and remove from mailing list. Which they confirmed they did via email. Today September 11, 2023, they sent another mail with their booklet. Which was promptly refused and returned to sender. Another mass email was sent to the Organization to remove from mailing list and cancel any and all accounts for my mother; My mother is 79 years of age.
Absolutely disgusting I was not welcome…
Absolutely disgusting I was not welcome from the minute I walked in racist staff I was charged twice even after showing my online receipt The woman staff at reception was racist towards me asking me how I was able get so cheap and if I’m a corporate customer it had nothing to do with her absolutely disgusting and really very rude horrible hotel. Upon requesting spare towels she said she could not get into housekeeping How is that possible Furthermore the rooms smoke alarms were covered up talk about fire safety
Norman Vincent Peale would NOT be pleased ...
Guideposts has resorted to commercialism and false advertising. It has also fallen into the hands of idiocy. HUGE disappointment!! The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. One of those hands needs to be chopped off!
After cancelling orders still receive…
After cancelling orders still receive them! Finally having to pay for an order I did not want! Still being billed for the unwanted product! Calling multiple times to complain. Told the bill has been paid! But when checking the balance is still outstanding. Have a cancelled check as proof. Bill paid!
