There Boxes are great the customer service is the worst

The entire team did nothing to fix the problem and told me I was at fault for what happened multiple times after I provided proof that I did exactly what I was supposed to do.The site charged me after I canceled the subscription and when I emailed about it, days before the box shipped. I received no reply until after it shipped and they told me it was too late. The "lead" Patrick continued to tell me his team did everything they could (they didnt). When I asked to review his customer service he tried to convince me they had done everything entirely correct and once again I was at fault. I pointed this out and he quickly backtracked saying I'm sorry you felt that way and it's no one's fault. Overall the experience was terrible which sucks because the boxes are really cool. Honestly the worst customer service I've ever received and it was more than a little frustrating, it took over a week to get my account canceled and they respond once a day to emails if you're lucky. The products are great and if you want them you should definitely buy them but beware of the customer service they'll screw you and tell you you asked for it.read more

I love this subscription service. Every box is reusable itself and comes with so many uniquely made goodies.Excellently themed pieces for every month. High quality glass with cute bowls. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I open my box and there are products I’ve never used before (alcohol filled cotton swabs, glass filter for rolling up, aDABter, etc.)! The customer service is always great and friendly, I wouldn’t invest in any other 4/20 friendly subscription service.read more

I subscribed to the Hemper Monthly Box and received my first package in a timely fashion.I was incredibly excited by the star of the box, a glass water pipe shaped like a giant egg. Due to severe chronic pain, I literally passed out holding the piece and broke it less than 20 minutes after unboxing it. I was heartbroken and reached out to Hemper customer service and explained my situation and asked if I could purchase a replacement. They texted me to let met know that they could replace it and sent me an invoice. The cost was for the shipping only...they replaced my glass for free. That's a great way to build customer loyalty...I will be a subscriber every month from now on, and recommending my friends too!read more

I’ve been with y’all for awhile now and when I got my first box I ran into issues and was supposed toget a huge credit back and never got it when I reached out I kinda got the run around and was never really replied to until weeks/months later. I let it go because for awhile I was very satisfied with what I was getting and didn’t really want to hassle with it. Then the chronic box came around and I never got it I emailed and asked to make sure I wasn’t mistaking an older box for it or anything along those lines and you guys informed me that it was marked as delivered. Okay fine but then you informed me that because they marked it as delivered I couldn’t get a new box or refund but I could get a new box if I paid for the shipping. I can live with that so I replied asking if I was able to upgrade the box to the XL and cover the difference and the shipping they mentioned. When I got a reply WEEKS later I was met with confusion on what box and what I was talking about. During this same time the April box came and it had a missing item from the box that was on the picture. I wrote the reply back about the previous box and included in April’s box in the same email as to not create so many threads for your team to reply to. I was then met with a standard reply of take a picture and let us know what’s missing and we will get back to you and before I could even do that I get a follow up email saying I haven’t replied in a few days and we are now closing this ticket. Honestly that’s just ridiculous because it takes you weeks to ever get back to me, so much so that I get a new box but I can’t take a few days to get everything together for you and reply without you all closing my ticket in a week.
The boxes were great at first but started to dwindle down once you started offering the XL box and it showed in that 420 box but I was still going to give one more shot with the may box. But after this customer service experience I think I’m going to just move on. I’m out a box and my money on more than one occasion and that’s not fair to me as your consumer. I understand it’s covid and you guys are working into over drive but at least make up for it when mistake do arise and it seems as if you all don’t want to do that anymore.read more

Have to give 1 star because I can't give 0. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my whole life.Talked to many different customer service reps and they're all the same. You get ignored for weeks at a time and then have responses answering the wrong questions. Then I get these emails asking to rate the service I was giving, when my issues have not even been dealt with yet! There some issues in this compony and I wont be giving my money to them ever again.read more
