It is a not-for-profit public-benefit corporation with participants from all over the world dedicated to keeping the Internet secure, stable and interoperable. It helps promote competition and develop policy on the Internet's unique identifiers. ICANN doesn't control content on the Internet. It cannot stop spam and it doesn't deal with access to the Internet. But through its coordination role of the Internet's naming system, it does have an important impact on the expansion and evolution of the Internet.

A non governmental organisation. It organizes the granting of domains and IP addresses worldwide.It is closely linked to the United States Department of Commerce . The administration and management of domain names and IP addresses is the responsibility of this entity. But the present reality is that ICANN does not monitor domains and IP addresses properly. It is corrupted. It is allowing different kinds of fake and scam websites worldwide. Totally business minded. You can also buy a domain and can do start sscamin activities. They will never monitor it. You just need to pay domain charge yearly and they will get the benifit. There are tons of new extensions available. Thousands types of scam websites creating every minutes in the USA and outside of USA. They are doing scaming and fradulent activities. Thousand scam e-commerce websites creating everyday. Thousands and million of peoples are victimized by these scam and fake ICANN allowed websites. So think for a few moments where are we now!? We are ordered and regulated by a kind of mafia. So now it is very important to make awarness among the the peoples of the world.
